Now does this still get you full value and just cut down on processing fees, or is there some dent in your revenue? And do you get a lump sum or a regular payout?

Patreon doesn't reimburse me the 10% and I don't think it has any effect on fees or taxes, at least on my end. The idea though is to make up for the discount by convincing people to commit, rather than just pledging for short time and then leaving. A pretty big chunk of patrons delete at the end of each month so I'm hoping this will help hold onto more people. And yep, I get the full payment up front. Patreon takes 5% of all pledges but they don't do anything else with the money.
