Phases in my art tend to be "reactions against". Some of my responsiveness to the tackier New York animation was in rebellion against the "Nine Old Men" aesthetic dominant at the time. Today, I gravitate to more humanoid figures in a contrast to the juvenile 1990s/retro/anime/Flash designs so prevalent today. The image above was done for a professional dominatrix a few weeks ago.
