Alright guys! I am need of some support not in terms of fight design for Pastilla but more so to just cover my blind spots on kinks that I may not have. Since I want Pastilla to be fun for all I wanna make sure certain interest are covered so I'm gonna list move ideas for her that are planned below. Feel free to give your suggestions and maybe game play ideas with them for any kink, move that I may not have thought of.


Planned moves:

1. Gas Spire - Pastilla will summon a durable projectile from the ground at various ranges. This will Launch her opponent upward and affect the opponent to 1 of 3 debuffs: Poison, Curse and Flame.

EX - Will summon Multiple spires to bring her Opponent in, similar to Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 9.


2. Booty Hammer - will be a melee option that will make Pastilla somersault to slam her ass down on her opponent. This will be a facesit/body crush attack with gassing added on to it, similar to Aroma's somersault seat. It won't move far if at all and is meant to be a pure damaging attack. Gassing will have the same debuff effect.


3. Teleport - A simple quick teleport. I wanted to do portals and such but I think I should save that for Twiggi. Its fine that Pastilla and Aroma have a few things in common as they are the same species


4. A horizontal based projectile/beam - I'm not sure what I should do here so ideas are welcome. Its gotta be good to actually help her keep enemies out. I'm thinking of making it slow startup so to not make it something that could be spammed but maybe multihit/ beam to allow it to run over other zoners.


5. I got nothing, what chu want?


Summary Pastilla's playstyle will be both slow moving big body and efficient zoning to intentionally give her a problem with close range. She won't have armor so you'll want to keep em out. If they get in her hippo body will do a lot of damage. So when you give suggestions please keep this in mind.

Those are all good ideas! I remember a while ago a finisher of hers I was really fond of was her using her ass to vacuum up her opponent. Also throwing this out there- maybe like Lardo's vore move, there'd be a non-ex and an ex version with a special winning animation if it finishes off the opponent?

Since she uses magic how about a slow moving orb that she can detonate if she wants to? Could set up some tricky things with a teleport too.

How about a counter move? She'll stick out her big jiggly booty and when struck, she blasts a big bassy fart that launches her opponent across the screen and propels her backwards to further compliment her zoning playstyle.

I don't know a lot about their magic, but it sounds probable for them to have some sort of stage wide attack. Super stomp + magic = some sort of earthquake type move that affects all enemies on the ground maybe? ~I love magic --Editing to add another thing. Depending on how crude you're willing to go with the gas stuff, there could be an ex/super that first produces gas and then throws in fire magics to make it all go boom. Could be fun ~

This is definitely exciting Kazecat! It seems like you have some great ideas for Pastilla already. The idea of giving her various debuff effects is very fitting for her voodoo themes. Looking forward to seeing how she turns out! It's neat that you'd be open to ideas from your fans as well. Here are a handful of ideas: 1a. You mentioned looking for an idea for a horizontal projectile/beam. Since Pastilla is a massive taur, what about her slamming her astounding ass on the ground for a horizontal-traveling shockwave that has to be jumped or blocked? For debuff theming different buttons or an EX version could add gas effects to the wave. 1b. An alternative idea for a horizontal projectile/beam - you mentioned a slow start-up so it couldn't be spammed, and other than Aroma's new super have any of your characters had charged attacks? Like you mentioned with the gas spires this could have different debuff effects with a longer charge corresponding to worse debuffs. Perhaps Pastilla could use her vacuum or just lift her tail to start charging a multihit fireball-like cloud? 2. One of the debuffs you mentioned was "Curse" - did you mean that to be the "turning character into a small non-anthro" form effect you showed off before? Creative use of that effect if so! That might make size-changing redundant, but one magic debuff that came to mind was Pastilla shrinking her opponents (which could make hits do more damage). Likewise you mentioned her playstyle being slow moving, so maybe to bring others to her level one of her debuffs could inflict a slowing effect? Lastly, if it's possible in MUGEN another debuff could affect the super-meter, like her stealing/draining her opponents' meter. 3. Speaking of effects, it's neat to hear you have a variety of debuffs in mind because one thing we haven't seen from you yet is characters with a focus on non-damaging effects. One nice detail in her stance animation was how you showed her hippo taur belly expanding with her inhaling. With that in mind, maybe Pastilla could buff herself in addition to debuffing enemies? For instance, a move that if not interrupted expands her stomach and make gas attacks more powerful for a while, or her casting a spell to make herself grow bigger and do more damage for a short time. Giving her some kind of benefit from a taunt-like move if it's not interrupted would fit with her zoning playstyle since it's a reward for keeping the opponent at bay. 4. On that note, since Pastilla will be a zoner and Aroma has her new super instead of her Kikosho inspired original, perhaps Pastilla could have a get-off-me / blowing opponents away attack? Like Aroma's was, though a smaller area of effect would be appropriate if it's not a super. This would be another good candidate for applying different debuff effects with different button presses or an EX version. 5. Lastly, you mentioned a vacuum/black hole super for Pastilla and that sounds awesome! In addition though, since Pastilla has that huge distinctive toxic skull on her backside it would be great to see a move that showed her earning that symbolism. Perhaps something like what Tekken did with Kuma/Panda (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsSgi5x3yK4" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsSgi5x3yK4</a>), a slow and easily avoidable attack but if it's not avoided it does huge damage? In a stream recently you had mentioned that the original color of Pastilla's gas was going to be black, maybe a black skull-shaped gas cloud or with a biohazard symbol like you did in <a href="http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3282006/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3282006/</a> would be appropriate. In any case, thanks again for doing such a good job with your characters and sharing them with everyone to download. Looking forward to seeing how Pastilla turns out and how you continue to refine your characters!

Considering Pastilla is just a creative juggernaut I do have some ideas but I'm as stumped as you are. One Idea I had in mind would be a trample attack that causes status effects. One point of reference would be from Milia wars DX's Salamander monster. Pastilla could also bodyslam, use her rear end to swipe a cloud of poison as a way to knock her opponents back if they are giving her too much pressure as she blocks. Our chimera figure does have magic so why not let her cast spells that hits hard and come out fast or shoot several smaller ones from her hand as a combo to gun down her opponents? One other idea I had was that she could be blowkiss a spray of poison that hits multiple times and stacks status or how about using the power of her giant asshole to suck opponents near her very fast like you drew in some pictures on Furaffinity? There's so much to consider for the monsterous mistress but that's all I got. I hope I helped you out Kazecat and good luck on your project.
