-Inhales-

Okay, I'm glad you've been sticking with me through 2020 and the beginning of this year. Between Covid, my burnout period and everything else, it's definately been a... strange time period. I've taken up a lot of commissions works and delays on Patreon have been accumulating through it, and to put it simply,... I'm pretty sure I've stretched myself too thin.

Right now, we're kinda stuck in this akward loop where I accumulate delays on delivering rewards, take more work next time to make up for the delay and then accumulate futher delays because I have more art to get done. I've been feeling a lot of pressure and guilt over the current situation, and that certainly didn't help my productivity either. So to put it simply... I'm gonna have to put an end to the loop.

So next month it's gonna be the last one where we run with the current system. I will begin one final big set of Patreon-requested pictures for my high-tier supporters as soon as I'm done coloring the current batch, and during May I will shut down my highest tier, the one with the monthly rewards. As of now I seem unable to keep the pace as I used to do in the past, so I simply don't deserve that money. Again, I will do one final big set for the high tier patrons, since I'm still behind schedule, and any of my highest tier supporters will always get discounts if they contact me for future commissions, since some of them have been sticking with me since the very beginning and even the most recent ones have been here for a couple years now, so I feel like they deserve it.

For everyone else, things will remain more or less the same. The 2 and 5 dollars tiers will remain, and in fact once I'm done with the last big set of pictures I'll take 2 submissions from the Request Box tier per month instead of one, and make damn sure I can keep the monthly pace at least with those. As for other art, I will not adding higher tiers and rewards untils I've cleared my backlog of non-Patreon commissions, which is also quite huge, so it's not like there won't be content for you to see me working on, even after the readjustments. Once those are out of the way too... then I do have some fun ideas, but we'll worry about that when we get there. The next step is getting me to a point where I deliver all the stuff I already owe to people, before worrying much of other stuff.

So to make a long story short: the highest tier of rewards (the "one picture a month" one) will be shutting down next month. I will deliver one final big set of rewards after the one I'm working on, and after that... done. The lowest tiers remain unchanged, except for the fact I'll be doing 2 pictures from the Request Box every month, to make sure there's always a bare minumum of content for your all to look forward to every month. And the rest of the time I'll be catching on with the rest of my art backlog, and any progress and finished picture will still be posted here before than everywhere else.

Changes can be scary, and considering there's a decent amount of money involved too, believe me when I say that I'm worried too, but I believe this is more fair for you all, and that it will take a lot of pressure off my back too, and thus help my productivity. Time will tell, I guess!

Thank you all for the attention, the support and the patience you always have for me. Oh, and sorry for the wall of text... I tend to be long-winded when I'm nervous xP

This is long overdue. Don't overwork yourself. This is a good step

I've rarely seen someone dropping income like that, and it must have taken a great amount of courage to make that decision. You deserve immense respect for it. But even though the pace is slower than it was, the quality of your art has only improved over time, so it's definitely worth the wait. Good luck for whatever comes next.

Thank you for the kind words. It wasn't an easy decision, but I believe it was the right one. Hopefully I'll still be of that same opinion a few months from now xP
