No, I'm not mad actually. It was more of a retorical question.

Sooo... 2020 is giving me one final "fuck you!" at the moment: my mother had to go trought some emergency surgery, and while she's doing okay all things considered she's gonna take some times to recover and need me to keep a close eye on her for a few days.

Now, this is the part where I'd just say "I'm pausing Patreon since I was already late anyway"... but my laptop broke too, and I'll likely need to buy a new one. Currently I'm using my previous lappy, that is almost 10 years old and is so busted I need to have a huge fan blowing air on it. All. The. Time.  Yes, even in December. Or it overheats and shuts down after a few minutes. So I couldn't pause the campaign, because I need the extra funding for a new machine, sticking with this piece of junk for more than a few days just isn't a viable option. I managed to save all the stuff I was making on an external HD at least, so nothing's been lost this time, at least.

Dunno about you, but 2020 has been bending me over and screw me in a whole bunch of fun ways. At least I avoided Corona-chan, but half my family got it, so even that was juuuust barely achieved.

Anyway! I should be operative again in a week, and I'll see if I can get a bit of something done these days too, tho it's unlikely. In 2021 I'll do another month where I pause the campain and still work on stuff, to compensate, and afterwards expect some changes. I need to reduce a bit the amount of stuff that I (try) to do every month, to avoid this kind of long and tiresome delay periods from happening. Sure, 2020 sucked and I bet most people's productivity suffered, but that doesn't mean I can't do things better.

Stay safe, thank you as always, and if you're putting up decorations and looking at padoru memes, happy holiday season!
