Delay Due to Health (Patreon)

Hi everyone! As you can probably guess from the title of this post, my cold (the same one my son has that lasted for four weeks) has begun to kick my ass. Worse, it’s begun to affect my head (affecting my decision making) which I sadly need for editing and writing. For example, I should have sent this out Thursday when I first noticed that it started getting worse but hindsight is 20/20.
I took my son to the doctor yesterday and he mentioned that because we nearly self isolated for the past three years due to Covid, we’re now picking up all the different cold strains, so this might not be one cold lasting four weeks but multiple colds. Of course it’s also possible that this is just a strain that lasts 4-6 weeks.
What does this mean for the delay? I don’t know. I’m very sick right now and need to rest. But I’ll edit the WIAFTTTTA chapter as soon as this cold returns to just affecting my lungs and not my brain. Hopefully, that will be by Monday or Tuesday.
For those looking forward to Tanking Hits, I have not forgotten the project. I just realized that I am getting close-ish to where I planned to end book 1 so I‘ve been reading through the story to make sure the ending I had planned still works. Man, it’s a stupid fun project but I didn’t realize how slow I would be at reading all 75k words of it (my cold hasn't helped). It’s something I need to do before editing the next chapter because I need to know if what I wrote will make readers frustrated (which isn’t my intension). I will get back to writing it soon (once this cold stops affecting my brain) and I apologize for the delay.
