(Sorry if you got an email about this 20 mins ago with a dead link. I accidentally uploaded a video that was 2 hours long. Going more mad by the day)

Hello! Got a quite different video for you this week. We went down to the brand new London E Prix track (which is in my neighbourhood) to scope it out before and during the event to find out just how they got this brilliantly ridiculous circuit made.

Hope you like it. We did our best with the sound, but I had to record through a face mask for a fair bit of it. It has subtitles but they might still be generating timings as I post this.

Any thoughts welcome on this one. Will def work to improve the 'on location' stuff to give me more scope to do more videos out and about when opportunity knocks.

Bonkers, but brilliant: how they made a race track out of an exhibition centre

Patreon edition! Had to reupload this as the first one was accidentally two hours long. Whoops!

Those Jon Bois vibes with the switch to google earth at the beginning really got me. Great video as always. Would have watched a 2hr directors cut.

Thank you! Was certainly an interesting productions and we got VERY lucky with the weather.

That transition from Real Life to Google Earth had me cheering quietly in my office, it's so cool! I didn't think you sounded too muffled in the face mask, and I always appreciate your captions, as a person who can have a hard time processing speech in louder environments (it's air conditioning season here). And as a person who works fan conventions for fun, I don't think I'm ever going to look at a convention center again without saying "I bet you could put a Formula E track in here."

Ha - thank you! It took a few goes to get it all matched up but I was happy with the transition :) I had to do a little bit of ADR in a couple of places but as long as it's not TOO bad I think I'm happy. And yeah - maybe you can bring Formula E to new convention centres around the world!
