I actually love the final ‘socialist’ idea, it would finally Give us a chance to see who the best driver is, at least more accurately anyway. I do believe in universal income though, so probably shouldn’t listen to me.

I’ve never really seen the need to separate driver and team penalties; at least not to the extent that one of them would get zero penalty. If something is benefiting the team, then it is benefiting the driver. Fault doesn’t matter. All that matters is the outcome.
