Hi, I liked your video about how to make F1 fairer and I wanted to know if there is any way of guessing how far the middle teams (and williams) are behind Ferrari and Mercedes in Units of time and money. If we don't change the rules for 5 years and give Haas an extra 30 Millionen Dollars, will they be competeing for the championship?

I think there are people who do very good, informed estimates of budgets and spending but I don't have it to hand and would have to look it up. I think it's tricky to say what Haas might do under those circumstances cause there's a lot of interwoven effects contributing to success but they could have a better chance yeah

Toyota's budget was infamously massive, but for a variety of reasons they never quite made it. I think the best way of putting it is "They need money, but not just money."
