Slight update to patreon end credits (Patreon)

Hello all! I'm making a mini update to the way I put end-credits together on my videos.

Firstly, I'm now only putting people through once the end-month payment has gone through. I think this is standard practice but I've just been adding people as and when they've joined which meant some people got sneaky freebie credits, which is unfair to the rest of you. This will be updated monthly.

Secondly I'm going to chunk the credits slightly so people who've pledged larger amounts get to go first. I appreciate this so much, so while I'm in a flat-tier structure on Patreon, I'd just like to recognise this!

I'm still trying to think of suitable tiered rewards...

To be honest, I don't think you can differentiate the tier rewards much more than it currently is. It doesn't fit your channel that much as your content is for everyone. And frankly I'm pretty happy with the current state. The "behind the scenes" and how you came to the idea of making the particular video is good enough already, at least I'm happy with it. Other opinions may vary. But I still like the changes you are currently making :)

Though what you can do is setting a goal. I don't know what exactly, but I think a goal would be kinda nice, just to see something we as patrons can "achieve". But that's just an idea, nothing has to be done in that direction :)

Hi Stuart, I understand the ''sneaky freebie credits'', to be honest I also got credits for one video while technically I wasn't a Patreon yet :) Secondly, I write this post just to let you know that for some people $2 is as much as $10 can be for someone else. However, I do get the idea behind your new ranking and I think that for most people the ranking won't make any difference since we all love to watch your videos. Keep up the good work ! Grtz from the Netherlands. ( & Yes I am a Max Vertappen fan :P )

Whoops, it seems you can't hit return. Hi Twan, You're absolutely right of course and people give within their means. As someone who's generally been on the edge with money, I completely understand this. We'll see how it all goes and I'm happy to change it up if necessary. The 'sneaky freebie' is less really about people who get credited a little early and more that I think some people have been in and out of the system before the end of the month. It's also really to make life a little easier for me so I can set up the credits roll just once a month instead of once a video - and it's a bit more accurate too!
