This was highly requested so I'm getting into it - the MGU-K.

This is quite... science theory intensive so I'd love to know what you think of it. Easy enough to follow? Not too much?

Also I had to try my hand at some very rudimentary 3D animation to bring it all together so I hope you like that too!

How does the MGU-K work?

Having looked at the brakes, a lot of people wanted to know HOW the MGU-K slows the car down by adding to the rear wheel braking. We'll look at: - how the MGU-K turns electrical energy from the battery into power for the rear wheels - how the MGU-K turns power from the spinning rear wheels back into electrical energy - how MGU-K braking occurs - how this all happens thanks to the interplay between electrical charge and magnetism! ------------------ Please do support these videos on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/chainbearf1 Twitter: http://twitter.com/chainbearf1 Writing / Illustration / Animation / Editing / Narration: Stuart Taylor http://www.chainbear.me sharecode: chainbearsharef1

Yaaaaay. This is amazing!!! I never expected it to be such a simple concept XD Can we look forward to one on the MGU-H?

This video helped me understand the MGU-K more than hours of googling how it works. Thanks for explaining it so well, and keep up the awesome work!

Ah, I am glad - that's the hope, that I can translate research at my end in to just a few minutes of your time! :)
