Why is the Kitten x Starfire animation taking so long to come out?

TL;DR: I'm not happy with it at all..

I know I'm not the greatest artist out there, but I strive to improve with each and every animation, project, or poster I release. For a good long while now I really haven't been a fan of how some of the stuff I makes' styles collide. Like with my realistic bodies and textures but super cartoon-ey heads. Which is why on my downtime I've been striving to learn how to mesh it all together for a nice, uniform look. The BEST subject I thought would be something I really love - The Titans! So Raven and Starfire have been my guinea pigs as I try to achieve this goal. I think I'm close to a break through and will wanna apply it to the Starfire x Kitten project. 

I promise you I'm not sitting on my hands during this momentary inactivity spell.
