From Jiro’s perspective that was sus as fuck. She would he easily put 2 and 2 together and figures out he has telepathy of some sort. And if she think deeply about it would realise that he didn’t have it before based on the conversation. Which might lead her to think he can copy powers. At some point they would have to let her know something, even if he doesn’t want to include her in the relationship.

Kind of a random question, but since you brought Bradley in as more then a camio/reference to FMA:B is the gang boss with a transmutation Quirk going to have any connection to Bradley's family and maybe that's why they don't like heroes?

Bradley's parents don't like heroes the same way the children of hippies often became super-corporates types, it's a rejection of their parents that's ossified into a near-religious belief and is a core part of their personality now. That said, I might grab some of the Humanculi as Villain-Expys, but that'll be much farther in the future.
