I feel like Jaune took Pyrrha’s comment a bit too literal at the start there. I could understand him being agitated by her disbelief, but the sheer arrogance and unnecessary confrontation kinda pulls it into outright dickishness on his part to lambast her for not instantly believing he’s a literally god-like being despite playing off his prior comments as if they were meaningless. Though his direct apologizing does offset it enough to not come across as outright condescending.

It's the Draconic Arrogance (tm), and it's been, and will be, an ongoing problem. It lingers a little after turning back. Also, yeah, Jauncifer was a dick this chapter, though not an unmitigated one. Pyrrha talking down to him about how it's obviously a joke didn't help, though. We've seen her be condescending to others, but less so to Jauncifer, and this is what happens when she is, combined with some serious I"M A DRAGON energy.

I highly enjoyed this chapter. Being able to see some more of the MC and his love interest interaction was great. The tension and the doming energy toward the end was also a bit electrifying. Also really happy to see a perspective shift to Oz. Seeing how he thinks of RMC as a godling son of the God of light was interesting. Though, on a side note that line about the Senate made me really wish that there was a Lord sidious time loop fic. I would definitely pay for that. Just imagining palpatine every time he dies winding up I like episode 1 and seeing how he would adapt his mechantations for the worst or the better would be interesting I think. Anyways enjoy the chapter looking forward to the next one

To be fair if you claim you are a Dragon, you should show proof. Plus I was under the impression that he was intentionally making it seem like a Joke, since when Blake found out he played it off as her imagination.

What fun! I imagine you have your own plotline for how exactly Oz finds out the truth of Cinder, but while reading the last couple of chapters, I thought of a pretty easy way Juan could give Oz believable evidence without giving up more secrets than he wants to. If Juan gets to see the Fall Maiden soon, he could tell Oz that he felt a trace of the same power in Cinder. Even without that, he could be a little more deceptive and barge in yelling at Oz about how he suddenly felt a trace of his blood and empowerment in Cinder and asking what in the hell is going on since Juan knows that she couldn't have gotten access to any of Juans blood from HIM. With a little subtle nudging he could probably get Oz to come up with the idea that the cause is that the blood empowering the Maiden is also sending a trickle to Cinder which would be believable if she was the one who stole the power.
