When going through then i found a couple videos for vander and people throwing out a theory of him being warwick the big werewolf dude. Would that effect you story going forward if they confirm it in season 2 or are you gonna run with your own plans for jayce doing his magic r&d progress stuff for death to trade for a revive for him and the two kids?

I don’t think his personality plays too much of a role in reviving him, it’s about s removing part of the guilt from the girls. What happens after he is revived is a different story. Plus such an experience will have an affect on a person’s personality, it’s like having the regrets before death yet being able to live after to do something about them (whether you do or not is up you the person).
