The gags (Patreon)

Gags are the second feature created for the mod after blindfolds. Like all bondage items, they work thanks to the Curios mod (which allows adding additional equipment slots beyond armor). 

They can be dyed in any color using one or more dyes, allowing for an infinite variety of different colors.

When a player clicks on another with a gag in hand, this equips the targeted player with the gag.

When a gag is equipped, messages sent by the player are altered but still remaining partially understandable (thanks to Ben987, the creator of BondageClub, for allowing me to adapt the system from his game). However, the parts of messages enclosed in parentheses are considered out of character (OOC) and do not apply to the effects of the gag.

Ideas for future additions:

Introduce new types of gags with different visual effects and varying impact.

Technical details: This information is not really important, but if you’re interested in understanding exactly how the gag works, you can read the following: 

The modified letters when you have the gag equipped are as follows:

- V, B, C, and T become E.
- Q and X become K.
- W, Y, J, L, and R become A.
- Z becomes S.
- D becomes M.
- P becomes F.
- G becomes H. 

Other letters and special characters remain unchanged. The only exception is if there’s a "(" in your message. From that point onward, the letters won’t be modified until the end of the message or until a ")" is detected. However, if a "\" appears before the ")", the OOC effect continues after the ")" (and the "\" disappears).
