The Spectre Case Files - 001 (Patreon)

The Spectre Case Files is an horror-adventure art prompt that explores the origins of Alex Spectre as a paranormal investigator before he became an occult detective. 

Alex is an original character of mine that I've been developing for roughly 13 years now. The first incarnation of Alex was heavily influenced by Mike Mignola's 'Hellboy' and his Sir Edward Grey 'Witchfinder' series. He was set in a Victorian steampunk world and all the flair of a generic Englishman. Then at some point he was aged down as a teenager, then he was married at some point, with a wife and kid but that didn't go anywhere....

His next incarnation sets him in the present day, modern clothings and all like John Constantine - but Asian; With a wolfman sidekick-turned brother named Gabe. But again, somehow I made him into some eccentic collector of occult artifacts and oddities in an inktober project called 'Nevermore Oddities'back in 2016.  Good gawd, what was I thinking. 

So now you have the opportunity to follow the progress of my latest exploration here on Patreon. This storytelling through visuals will also be replacing the tier reward for the Fox Clan from this month onwards.
