Surprises in the Heat (Patreon)

Greetings my dear Patron~

 Staying cool? It has been a scorcher over the past few days and I have been hiding in the AC like my life depends on it. Got the smallest squirt of rain last night and it barely cooled anything off. One of those, 'here's a bit more humidity for you, bye' kinds of rains. Enough to turn the pavement into one of those steam trays you put under food at a buffet or a wedding party. Ugh. I am a hot mess.

 You may have noticed I have curly hair. It's a naturally occurring thing and let's just say that when the humidity and heat are in full force I become a messy frizzball of discomfort. Anyway. Enough about my woes, onto the delicious news.

 The poll about interest in EB's direction has thrown me completely for a loop and only tells me how little I know sometimes. Granted only 15 folks responded, but I was still surprised by those who did. I am working on the Valentina chapter, which is going to segway back into Lucy and Gabriella and then back to MC. At least that is how it is feeling at the moment. I have been doing a lot of chapter bouncing and Trish will reappear sometime around then as well.

 But the big question, what is going on with the good doctor? I myself want to save it all for much later in the story, besides a few nibbles here and there, all smoke and mirrors you see. But I think I need to figure something out before then. There will be inspiration somewhere down the line. Actually, I think I just got a touch of inspiration thinking about it now. These blog posts aren't just to say the same thing every week (Chapter teaser coming in x days), but a chance for me to get in the mindset after a weekend of more forgetting than remembering. (Please don't judge!) And when I talk out loud (Typing in absolute silence looking over my shoulder every minute or so) it helps me to get things in perspective.

 I have overfilled my plate and am working on multiple stories right now. I might drop hints of one, but I want to finish and submit it to a contest before I drop it here. (Stealers and all that. You understand.) Got EB. And I am reworking EM, (The chapter with the lady shopping. Frozen foods, etc. I added two or three more scenes including a Gloryhole one. That inspiration came out of nowhere.) It was going to be lumped in with something else, but then just blew out of proportion (How we like it.) and seemed decent enough to stand on its own. Also did up a pretty spicy cover image as well which I think should attract some eyes.

 Anyway. Look forward to some Valentina action this week! Part of me admires Valentina, but part of me hates her too. I don't know how to explain any more simply than that. Plenty of depravity to go.
