The Tower of Druaga is a famous Namco arcade game released in 1984. It is a action maze game where you look from above. You play as Gilgamesh. He is a brave knight must defeat enemies and monsters and go through 60 floors to reach the top of the tower and defeat evil Druaga demon and save Ki the princess.

It is design by Masanobu Endo who also create the Namco game Xevious. They used the idea of Pac Man for the game style but want it in a adventure world. In the end it is mostly just action but there are rules. There is limit of time for each stage or ghosts will attack Gilgamesh and kill him. Some special items must be found to finish the game properly.
