The Arcade Gears series for Sega Saturn and PlayStation was a series by Xing Entertainment. They were bringing arcade games to the home consoles for the first time. They released four part to their series:

- Gun Frontier (TAITO)

- Image Fight & X-Multiply (TAITO)

- PuLiRuLa (TAITO)

- Three Wonders (CAPCOM)

They planned a number five game: Data East's Edward Randy: The Cliffhanger. They even had the cover art made by  Fujiwara Hisashi 藤原ひさし. He also did the Gun Frontier artwork and worked on Digimon series.

It was to be the cover of the Edward Randy: The Cliffhanger home port. However this release never did happen. That means that Edward Randy was never on any home console and the only way to play is the arcade version.
