You can post your game related questions and bug reports for 0.4.0.x here and I will try to answer/fix them whenever I have time.

Bug list:

  • The number of days a girl is on the island is not shown on the phone's details page for each girl -> fixed with changes to "gui_screens.rpyc"
  • You have to click once when the text "Initializing game" is shown, which is not very intuitive -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"
  • When Amy is your plane girl, you see first her "Amy plane girl scene" and after that a black screen and the generic plane girl dialog -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"
  • When Joy shows you the Island you see nothing or the island in black and white -> fixed with changes to "intro.rpyc"
  • You could not advance Eva's breast enhancement quest line through talking with her at the beach, because a part of the code is missing. -> fixed with changes to "loc_beach_eva.rpyc"
  • When you take a walk on the beach with Renée and she's wearing her bikini (not the skimpy version) and you ogle her breasts, pictures are missing -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.1

How to apply a quick fix file?
Open the folder where you installed Holiday Islands. Then navigate down to the folder named "game". Copy the file there and if asked, confirm to overwrite the file.

Q: days on island seems to have started counting only from 4.0.0. Correct?

I've got a problem playing poker with Amy. Before 4.0.0 I could play her once a day. Since the update she keeps blowing me off "played not long ago". Only when her stats are high and she spontaneously asks me to go to the green room I get to play after being denied for 4, 5 days....

REALLY hate to pick nits, but on the boat when they're eating, MC says, "I must be the luckiest guy in the word." I think you forgot an L there for WORLD.

The first chat with Ivy in the bar: when MC goes to get drinks from Jennifer and compliments her, Ivy is tagged to "Thank you." when it should be Jennifer.

I ran into a problem. The "ask to poledance" button does not show for Amy any more. I don't know when that happend, but even after a new installation and deleting the persistent file and starting the game from scratch it's not there, with or without the bugfix files. Anybody else got that problem?

When Brenda comes in to clean the room and i choose to make no noise after the successful sneak there seems to be no reward for it.

After the first visit of the cleaner where it says "Subquest information", "Make use of some of the island facilities" a background picture is missing.

The first part of Jennifers transformation story are repetable the second part is not. i suggest that the second part are made repetable!

Can’t get Eva’s enhancement quest to trigger. I added the quick fix file and it still does not trigger the quest. My stats are high enough. I’m on a Mac if that helps anything. I also saw another post saying to put “player.get_quest_state("Eva_breast_enhancement", eva)” in the console, I did that and it came back with a “-1”

It should work with the fix. You should get it during the beach wave scene where you get her a coke. If you want to start it manually, type in the console: player.add_quest("Eva_breast_enhancement", eva, eva)
