Holiday Island update to 0.3.8.1 has been released (Patreon)

Hi guys and gals,

the first bug fix update for 0.3.8.x has been released.

This is an update to the version 0.3.8.1 (PC, Mac, Linux only).
The update works only on version 0.3.8.0.
In case you are new to the game, you need to download one of the main game files version 0.3.8.0 beta (PC, Mac, Linux) from the links on my main patreon page:

Save games from 0.0.8 alpha and later versions should still be working. Older saves are no longer supported. Some saves might still not load. Sorry for that, but there is nothing I can do about it.

Please download the update to 0.3.8.1 beta (PC, Mac, Linux) from the file attached to this post, or from one of these links:

To apply the update, please extract all files from the zip archive to the sub folder named "game" inside the folder where you installed the full game. Overwrite all files when asked.
For Mac users, please navigate to the folder structure:
HolidayIsland.app\Contents\Resources\autorun\game
Extract the content of the zip file into the "game" folder mentioned above.

EDIT: If you downloaded an earlier version of the file, please download it again and apply it. You can see that you have the current version if you have the following files in your game folder: functions.rpyc, screens.rpyc, player.rpyc

EDIT2: If you get a crash when loading several older save files in a row, please redownload the new version of the bug fix for 0.3.8.1

Fixes: Possible problem with save file name crashing the load/save screen.
Wrong calculation of strength and endurance train points.
I strongly advice to use the new version of 0.3.8.1

More of a general question I still haven't been able to get Amy's beach bar scene yet. I have I believe all the requirements but it just seems not to proc. Any thoughts?

There is not much to it. The trigger is basically the same as for Yvette. Stats and swimwear. The only tricky part is that Amy still needs to be at the beach when the check is done, which is half an hour or an hour later (depending on what you do with Yumiko) than the start of the beach bar scene with Yumiko. It's the same for Yvette as well.

Don't know where else to put this but this seemed like the best place. So I have been having an issue with the Android version, it doesn't seem to open correctly all the time. It goes to the startup loading the game splash screen, but once it loads and is about to go to the disclaimer screen it mostly just goes to a black screen and never loads from there. Sometimes it does get to the disclaimer screen quickly and I can play the game if the disclaimer loads but it feels like a craps shoot if the game loads or not. Anyone else seeing this behavior?
