Hi guys and gals,

this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.4.0.0).

You can see the main focus and side areas for the next update in the above image.

The change log below is based on the release 0.3.8.0.

As of right now, the update from 0.3.8.0 to 0.4.0.0 has:
939 additional renders, videos or sound files (only includes post worked, finished renders)
20 new backgrounds for the phone
297 updated renders

New features, major improvements and new content

Boat trip scenes

  • Integration of sailboat event, achievements, etc. into game -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer and Amy get a night scene on a very small cosy island which ends the sailboat trip -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer and Amy talk with the MC, the yacht is see for the first time and it gets too dark to sail back -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets a sex scene in the cabine during the sail boat trip -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer and Amy get a topless scene on deck of the sail boat where Amy teases the MC -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets a scene on the sailboat where her wet top gets transparent -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer and Amy have lunch with our hero on the boat, eating burgers -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets an event during the sail boat trip where she talks about a night out with Amy -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer and Amy get a scene on board with some teasing before jennifer tells the story about the night out with Amy -> will be part of 0.4.0.0

  • Miriam and Yumiko get an event at the beach where Miriam stocks the sail boat before the trip -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer, Miriam and Yumiko get an event at the night bar where they talk about the sail boat trip -> will be part of 0.4.0.0

Lab scenes

  • Integration of lab events, achievements, etc. into game -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Daniela talks to the MC in her office before she walks him to the elevator -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Sara shows up at the pool and escorts our guy to Daniela's office -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Mia gets an event at the pool area of the lab -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Mia gets an event in the lab's kitchen where she talks with the MC -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Sara walk our hero to the kitchen to meet Mia -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Daniela takes a blood sample from the MC and helps to "extract" a sperm sample -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Sara talks to the MC down at the lab and they walk to the infirmary for another blood sample -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Delizia gets a short part in the event where Mercedes picks up the player for anotehr checkup at the lab -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Mercedes gets a new event where she picks up the MC and they visit the lab for another checkup -> will be part of 0.4.0.0

Brenda scenes to complete her

  • Brenda gets a quest line about her background -> will be moved to 0.4.1
  • Brenda gets a remade workout pullups scene -> will be moved to 0.4.1
  • Brenda gets an appointment in the MC's room to celebrate an anniversary. The scene will partially reuse existing renders and add several new ones. -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a photo shoot event with Jennifer in the photo studio -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets an anniversary appointment in the photo studio together with Jennifer -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a new event in the hallway where she's on her way to Joy to celebrate an anniversary -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a remade sperm congestion scene with 2 achievements -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a new plane intro with 20 images -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a beach pose scene in her skimpy bikini with two achievements -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets an update to her beach walk scene with additional renders and two achievements -> will be part of 0.4.0.0

Other scenes

  • Natasha's workout pecs training scene has been remade and she got an achievement where you change the weights -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Yvette's reward appointment where she's wearing her pink corset has been upgraded to 2560x1440 and several new images have been added -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Faye gets an update to her poker appointment. New images have been added and all have been upgraded to 2560x1440 webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Natasha gets an update to her poker appointment. New images have been added and all have been upgraded to 2560x1440 webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Eva gets a new beach walk scene with two achievements and a happy ending -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Renée gets a remade arrival scene with lots of new images and a short story -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Desire gets an update to her sperm congestion scene with new renders in webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Lacey gets a long sperm congestion scene with 4 achievements -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets a new event in the photo studio where she's posing in a sling bikini -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Renée gets a remade beach walk scene with two achievements -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Amy gets a blowjob poker rewards scene -> will be part of 0.4.0.0

  • Yvette's undress scene at reception has been upgraded to 2560x1440 webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Yvette's training appointment at the gym has been upgraded to 2560x1440 webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets a resolution update on her poker appointment and some renders before she leaves. -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Jennifer gets an easter egg image -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Mia gets her first dream and phone background images -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Our hero gets a shower masturbation scene -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • All intro images that were still low res have been AI upscaled to 2560x1440 webp format -> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Faye gets a new event at the night bar where she initiates a sex scene at the blue room -> will be part of 0.3.8.1
  • Yvette gets a new event at the night bar where she initiates a sex scene in the lounge area -> will be part of 0.3.8.1

Bug fixes

  • During Brenda's arrival scene a crash "NameError: name 'zoom_' is not defined" could occur -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Mia could be missing in some phone functions and she didn't reply to messages -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • The "shuffle displayed girls" button sometimes resulted in no change to the displayed girls -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Under certain circumstances, an arrival scene for one girl could be shown two days in a row -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • The icon to mark cards is placed over the trophy icon, making only one of teh two useable -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Switching on the randomization for the phone background leads to a crash, every time the background is switched -> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Groping images for Alice at reception were renamed between the two outfits -> will be fixed with 0.3.8.1
  • Some grammar and spelling mistakes corrected -> will be fixed with 0.3.8.1
  • Renée didn't completely undress at poker -> will be fixed with 0.3.8.1
  • Yvette makes an arrival appointment at the pool even if the player says no (during her arrival scene) -> will be fixed with 0.3.8.1
  • Faye has a grey image transition in her pole dance scene -> will be fixed with 0.3.8.1

It would be nice if there is a bit more info about how to fire certain events. I have a bunch of events that say "do x to complete" but when I do it, it doesn't happen. Eg I can't book a new appointment with Joy despite completing a sub-quest and waiting a week, I can't get Ivy's true strength or any of the tasks relating to conversations with her in the bar. It seems a lot of events just aren't firing or there is some hidden trigger that I simply can't find.

Hey, just had an idea. Don't know if it's ever been proposed, but what about a costume/Halloween party? Miriam and Mercedes could come as She-Hulk and Red She-Hulk respectively, Ivy could be Wonder Woman, and we've already seen Heather as Harley. I'm sure we could all come up with ideas for the other girls as well. What do you think?

I have worked on a couple of scenes not listed, but I didn't want to add too many things that are not that far along yet. The boat trip has some renders from a year ago or even older and I have to see what I'm going to replace in addition to the new ones.

Things like that are very complicated in a sandbox game. The more girls are present, the harder it gets to manage it as an event. That's why I restrict most content to two girls plus maybe a special or staff character that is always present.

This one I can answer. She already gets a ton of new and remade stuff before her retirement. But the list is really long already and I won't turn 0.4.0 into a Brenda release. So the answer is no for Brenda.

Looking forward to 4.0! Maybe one more item for the to do list: it would be nice to have the option to skip days or even a week; currently I'm waiting for the remaining 29 images from Yumiko and at 30 minutes a time, my left mouse button is starting to complain :-)

So my game did't start and i have two folder to delete are " save " and " Appdata" but i only find " Appdata folder " to delete . I can't find any " save folder " in game folder and now the game still doesn't start. Please how can i fix this? (Sorry my English is a bit bad )
