Hello everyone!

I've been experimenting with AI image enhanements, especially the upscaler to use it on older scenes where I don't want to spend a ton of time having to rerender everything.

The results are mostly good. Very often even unexpectedly good. It needs a decent older base image to work. In cases where the old image is grainy or noisy, the end result will be bad too.

Of course the quality isn't as good as when I really render the images again in 4K or 2160x1440. But the improvements are clearly noticeable and well worth the effort in my opinion.

The above images are examples. For a direct comparison you get the old (original) and the new image.

Huge time saver compared to having to render them all in a higher resolution and then switch to webp format. And of course with the advantage that the time saved (after the initial investment) will be free for other things.
