Managed to find an infinite loop when Miriam carries you out from the underground lab. Also, this isnt a bug, but how do you get the self tan lotion quest to appear?

I'm getting a error using the companion mod I extracted into the game file.

I ran into an issue attempting to run the new update for the first time. The game failed to launch and there were not errors in the log file. The log file failed to update past the loading script line. What ended up being the issue was the save files located in the appdata directory for windows, found here %APPDATA%/RenPy. If anyone has this issue, navigate to the directory in Windows File Explorer and look for a directory containing "Island" in the name, in my case it was named "Island-1499865023". I would suggest renaming the directory then launching the game again.

Hello , darkhound nice update again, my problem is , i dont know if im doing it wrong but sara just inst coming to the bar never i received a text from her and nothing more happens

I was able to get the event where I visited Yvette in her room after which we went to the pool even though it was raining. It says in the requirements that this should not be possible.

A few minor bugs but this game is my favorite of all of the games that I have downloaded. Great to have finally enjoyed good time with jennifer and great back story for her. Only prob I had a few times was that I would be with Amy and then I would be notified that I had missed a date with Amy (couldn't be in two places at once with the same girl). Very enjoyable, Darkhound.

Lotioning Faye on the sunbed at the pool doesn't seem to count as an interaction with. At least she loses affection at 24:00.

One bug I encountered - sometimes if you click on the bottom right dialogbox to go to a scheduled event, any girls currently on screen stay there, overlaying the new location. For example, I was in the bar and clicked to go to play poker with Joy. The three girls from the bar as well as Yumiko were then layered over the poker scene, making it unplayable. I got around it my switching to my room first, then clicking on the appointment. Minor, but it happened in a few similar circumstances. So it looks like that 'appointment button' code isn't clearing the scene before moving to the new location.

Funny error. Went to visit Yvette in her room. She took me down to the pool and lay on a sun chair in the rain.

After playing the game for a few hours, it can't be opened again. After each double-click, a process pops up in the task manager and closes automatically. The tutorial games built into the Ren'Py engine can run successfully.

When it rains it seems to cancel all appointments. Even those that take place indoors. The most annoying thing about that was that it happened just when I was supposed to have my appointment with Sara. I never got another invite, so I had to load an older save and lose a few days of gameplay.

Strange bug, every time I try to open the phone the game crashes, this is fixed by starting a new game, but in my old save I really can't do anything atm because any opening of messages or phone will crash the game.

Darkhound, you are simply the best! I am having some trouble continuing Sara's quest. I'm up to the part where I have to talk to Joy about Sara again, but I haven't seen it when I go to reception to request a meeting with Joy. Is there something else I have to do before I can get the specific request? Thanks for any help you can provide!

I have only received 6 out of 8 context related sexting images from Alice. Four in the red lingerie and two in the black dress. How can I get the other 2?

Not really a bug, but maybe add a trigger that makes you unable to do the tanning cream quest for Miriam before having done the lab section. The story with Sara kinda doesn't make any sense otherwise.

I hate to say it, but when I'm going to apply the lotion to Yvette, it freezes and sometimes kicks me completely out of the game just when it's "getting good," if you know what I mean. The rest of the scene, if I can get past that hiccup, runs fine.

so its not exactly a bug (for the main game) but i have been playing this game for quite a while and have had no serious issues then i download the newest version of Companion Mod and now my game won't open even with Admin Mode any advice or possible resolves?

If it doesn't open/start at all, it has nothing to do with the companion mod. You probably have a corrupted persistent file in your user data. Navigate to this folder and delete the file named "persistent". You need to enable viewing hidden files to do so. C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Island-1499865023 If you copied the save games from your old game folder to the new one, you also need to delete the file named "persistent" in your holiday island save folder. After that the game should work again.

I think I may have found an unfortunate bug. When I'm playing on Wednesday in the morning by the pool, if I interact with a girl, I get kicked to the butt contest. That didn't bother me, until I tried to interact with a different girl just after the contest was over and I got sent back to the butt contest again. Might need to be reviewed for the next update.

On the day of the first butt contest, when there are not enough girls on beach, doing any action on the beach triggers the butt contest scene where Jennifer says there are not enough girls on the island. This appears to happen after all actions at any time of day.

After applying the bugfix, I ran into a strange bug. At first I thought my mind was telling me to go to bed, but I'm awake now and events (Pool with Yvette, appointments with other girls) seem to happen twice. After finishing, I return to my location as expected, but then enter the event again. Granted, it's twice the fun, but still...

Just became a Patreon. Incredible job with this game. I found a minor bug (not technical): I just started the sun tan lotion quest and met Sara for the first time. The dialogue implies that I met her before and had an ankle injury, which did not happen so far. No big deal, but I thought I mention it.

The Companion Mod for the 3.1.1 Verison of the game actually break the game which causing it to crash, hopefully you can fix this.

Found a couple more issues. 1. During the event where Aly shows you pictures of Jessica's swim suit while relaxing on the beach, the girls pop up in the foreground a screen or two before event ends. 2. When you are recalling your first meeting with Joy on the island prior to the second, you remember seeing Joy spreading her legs even though I failed the check and didn't see that during the first meeting. 3. Natasha mentions Joy's lab during her visit at night. This happened for me prior to the second meeting with Joy so you have no knowledge of Joy's background at the time. This could be seen as foreshadowing, but feels awkward. Maybe not let that scene happen until a bit more is revealed. Otherwise, progress looks good. Keep up the great work!

Sorry to be a pain, but I was trying to re-play the meeting in the gym with Mercedes at 02:30, but it's not working in this new version. Any chance that could be corrected?

There is nothing wrong with it and nothing has been changed. Go to the gym at night when Mercedes is there too.

In the event when Jennifer is taking you to her studio for the first time, when you get to reception the visuals for that part of the scene are messed up. Jennifer is off to the left and the reception girl is zoomed in way too far. The event looked just fine outside that one section.

Found a couple more issues. 1. I received an invite for Eva to meet me in the evening in my room, but the invite said to meet in Yvette's room. This was during the time when Yvette left the island for a week, so not sure if that was related. 2. After you win at strip poker, there is a split second when the girl is fully undressed before she removes the last article of clothing. Not sure if it happens for all girls, but I saw it for Yumiko and Heather. 3. After Yvette meets with Joy, she asks you to go down to the pool. In my case it was raining so the game correctly said this was canceled due to rain, but then Yvette still asked what she should wear to the pool.

When I meet with Sara for the second time to get the self tan lotion from her, I get an error when she supposedly gives me the lotion, if I click Ignore, the game moves on but I end up without the lotion in my inventory. I have fixed 1. and 3., but I'm unable to replicate 2. I've played poker against Yumiko and Heather, but didn't have your described problem. Maybe my PC is simply too fast, but from the code I can't see how this is possible. EDIT: Okay, found nr 2. and fixed it as well. My PC was too fast, so I couldn't see the image. Adding a pause I found the spot with the problem and fixed it.

I installed the nemod companion. It didn't worked and cause an exception. After several attempt the result was that Holiday Island crashed. I tried to restart it without success. I tried to make a fresh install and got the same result. I don't know what nemod have done on the machine but it looks like something have been modified, maybe in some parameter . files. But which ones ?

Fixed: removed all the saves of current day and persistent file in .ren folder of your home. You will loose at max a save but you will recover the normal behaviour of your game

I have a question about the quest enhanced eva breast enhancement. At 2 step where you have to find the right time to ask her. I've already let her win the Wet T-Shirt Contest etc. several times to get the date. Here I always just gets the S*X scene and I have no option to ask her about her breast enhancement .Is the whole thing a bugg or do you have to talk to her about it at another point?

I've run into a bit of a problem. I installed the game and patched to 3.1.1, then installed the companion mod. I then started a new game. After I went to the headquarters and did the questionnaire (signing the paperwork etc., in other words the character creator), the game displayed a screen which said "Initializing data". It never moved forward after that, even after waiting for most of an hour. Is there a debug log or something that I could look at or send you to find out what's going on? I did play an earlier version (0.2 or thereabouts) but on a different machine, so I don't have that save. [Edit] Looks like if you click on the Initializing data... screen after a while (not sure how long, I gave it 15 minutes in the morning) that it moves on. So I was able to get to the island.

I takes less than 1 second on a PC in most cases. Even if the PC is an old one. The same routine runs when the day advances to the next. So no idea what's going on. I've never seen that behavior before.

Check Miriam's events on your phone. The one about the twisted ankle. Should be first row, the one on teh right side. Activate the hints and hover your mouse over it. That's where you find your answer.

After updating to 0.3.1.1 when ever I go to the reception, the girl who is on duty is tiny and when you click on her the screen goes black. The commands to talk hug etc are clickable and work just no images. I started a new game to test if the issue still happens and when you arive at the island you able to talk with the reception girl but alas the screen is still black, you can read what she is saying etc and you can click on answers. You can move to your room and other areas and all is fine. On returning to reception, girl is tiny behind the desk and clicking on her turns screen black.. I would provide a screen shot if possable.
