Hi guys and gals, this post offers you a collection of news about the next main version of Holiday Island (0.1.4.0 beta) and the smaller updates towards it. 

There will be smaller, more frequent content updates, called content addons. They will include bug fixes and new content as well.
The change log below is based on the beta 0.1.3.0 release.

0.1.4.0 beta will include everything from 0.1.3.0 beta including all content addons and bug fixes.

The next release is 0.1.4.0 beta which includes bug fixes and new content

The update from 0.1.3.3 to 0.1.4.0 has 421 new renders and videos!

New features and content  

  • Joy can send three sexting images now -->  part of 0.1.4 beta 
  • Faye gets a very long scene with posing and two videos in the "blue room", a part of the night bar (upstairs) -->  part of 0.1.4 beta
  • Jennifer will reveal her transformation story in an event --> part of 0.1.4 beta
  • Natasha gets the "follow me" renders --> part of 0.1.4 beta   
  • Natasha gets the "flash breasts" renders --> part of 0.1.4 beta  
  • Desire and Jessica get a hot "girl time" event --> part of 0.1.4 beta
  • Desire gets an event where she visits your room in a pink maid dress --> part of 0.1.4 beta
  • Jennifer gets a few scenes where you can visit her in her room --> part of 0.1.4 beta

  • The next office meeting with Joy has been added which conlcudes Eva's BE quest --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • Sleepware (lingerie) options have been added to the game for Amy and Yvette. They are used when you visit the girl at night time --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • Amy gets a short quest for a sexy lingerie which she will happily pose for us --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • The posing function gets a camera zoom and Possibility to move the image using a (left) mouse click. All new posing images are in 1920x1080 (webp format) for better quality and use of the new zoom function. --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta    
  • Amy gets a posing "appointment" in lingerie --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta     
  • You will be able to visit the girl's rooms (when you have the room number) and schedule appointments --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta

Minor improvements and changes

  • Added the code to allow sexting images to be "dream images as well" (only used for Joy right now) -->  part of 0.1.4 beta     
  • All pool scenes have been refined to improve picture to picture transitions. Conversation text has been improved as well. -->  part of 0.1.4 beta    
  • Alice gets 5 new dream images (school girl, poledance, beach tan) --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta 
  • Posing achievement has been changed to multi image format --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • All existing posing pics have been upgraded to 1920x1080 webp format (Aly and Jennifer)  --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • A short intro that explains all features of the new posing function has been added. It can be skipped or watched --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta    
  • Lots of typo corrections and smaller text changes in different places --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • A cleanup function for events has been added to the save game update code for 0.1.3.2 (this will correct 25 of 24 events seen or similar) --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • Yvette gets an additional achievement for the reception at night event (no no images or story) --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta     
  • In the achievements, all of Yvette's events and appointments have been changed to "multi image" --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • For the display of sexting images, the number of total images in the cagtegory is shown --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta   
  • The last selected "view": character base data/achievements/trophies will be stored and you will directly see that page when you click on a character next time. --> part of 0.1.3.2 beta  

Bug fixes

  • Breast flashing didn't have enough requirements -->  fixed with 0.1.4 beta  
  • Dream images for Renée were not added -->  fixed with 0.1.4 beta  
  • Ivy breast bump event in her swimwear was not supposed to happen in the evening -->  fixed with 0.1.4 beta  
  • Jennifer age and room number are not shown, although the MC knows them --> fixed with 0.1.4 beta  
  • A bug has been introduced with the quick fixes (it's still there in 0.1.3.3) - the achievements when you visit the girls have vanished --> fixed with 0.1.4 beta 
  • Fixed a bug that no images where displayed during  the sun lotion event at the pool when there was a meeting with the girl at the same time --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • There can be too many scene entries (e.g. 7 of 6) in the achievements --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • There is a time jump back to 07:30 afte the third meeting with Joy --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • Visiting Aly in her room when she just showered. Her image is too small and in the wrong spot. (same problem for Desire and Alice) --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta 
  • NameError: name 'l_actions_left' is not defined  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • NameError: name 'l_girl_image_base_xpos' is not defined  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • ScriptError: could not find label 'change_char_afection'. a typo --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • IOError: Couldn't find file 'locations/loc__main.jpg' when starting a new game  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • AttributeError: 'cl_character' object has no attribute 'room_type' during save game upgrade  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.3 beta  
  • Fixed another bunch of typos --> fixed with 0.1.3.2  
  • Alice and Amy after shower scene - endurance and lust reduction were missing --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Yumiko "dream" and "phone" images were missing --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2     
  • Delizia sexting is not working and not showing up in achievements --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2     
  • Fixed a rare crash during player masturbation scene  (ValueError: list.remove(x): x not in list ) --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Yumiko's bra size wasn't shown event though she told you --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Aly pool pose topless scene was not added as done/seen in the achievements --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • The interaction counters (daily and weekly) were not reset for special girls and girls not on the island --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • There is a bug in Aly's event where you can get her teenage photos. She won't send the first photo and the quest is stuck at that point. --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Delizia gym scenes - achievements are not available on the phone  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Yumiko poker win is listed two times in the achievements (was introduced with 0.1.3.1)  --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2    
  • Yumiko achievement description for last bar scene is wrong (same as the one before) --> has been fixed with 0.1.3.2   

Is the update going to break save games?:  
0.1.3.2 beta --> Save games from 0.0.8 and later can still be used. Earlier saves are no longer supported.
0.1.3.3 beta --> same as for 0.1.3.2
0.1.4.0 beta --> same as for 0.1.3.2

Wonderful. :) I worked hard trying to get Aly to send me those pictures.. Was a bit sad when I saw they are not in yet.. Any idea when that update is coming? And.. The swimsuit try-on event, can it lead to something I have tried quite a few times but there is no more yet? Thanks again for a wonderful game. I am a porr student and have it tight now but I WILL become a patron after the New Years when it gets better for me. I hope you keep working on this game! :D

Darkhound, I just signed up for your Patreon. I've been following you for a while, and I am really, really impressed with your game. It's got close to the most content I've seen of any game I follow. It's really fun to play. Since I just joined as a Patron, I haven't seen many of your Patron-only posts yet. One thing I'm curious about is content for the more normal-proportioned girls, like Delizia, Lacey, Renee, and Brenda. I know this past release gave some more content for them, but it seems to me like they still, by far, have the least amount of content of the characters. Are there plans to give them more content in the near future or was this past release sort of it for a while? I have gathered that the bustier girls are by far the most popular, and it's logical to cater to the dominant group. :) Anyway, not complaining. Love the game. :) Just hoping to see more "naughty" content for the more normal-proportioned girls. Don't want them to get left in the dust by the others! :)

Hi and welcome :) You can check the achievement app on your phone in game to see what scenes, evens and appointments there are available for each girl. It will give you a pretty good idea. A lot of the content has been voted on by the patreons (10$+). The busty lovers are by far in the majority. It wil always be a game focused on busty girls.

Check you phone for events/appointments/scenes - if there is no more displayed for certain stuff, it means there is nothing more in the game right now.

I love the sexting, but how the girls choose which sexts are sent could be tweeked. One of 4 categories is chosen at random, then the next post in that category is chosen. This is alright, but if a girl has only 1 pic in a category, like Heather's shower pic, she sends you that same pic 25% of the time. It would be better if the chosen pic weren't random. She could start out by sending teasing pics. Then once all of the teasing pics have been sent, she could move on to shower pics, then topless, then masturbation. This way there's no repetition. Plus, it's more realistic because she shows you more as she trusts you more. Also, you know when you've got all her pics because once she sends all her pics, she stops. Maybe she could start over if she's sent off the island and brought back. She might also stop because she's angry at you. I'm not sure how the sexting really works, but regardless, a non-random, linear choosing of sexts is a better option, just like it works for Aly's teen pics and the Yumiko's bikini pics.

I think the frequency of sexts is good right now, but maybe they could be extended until the bar closes at 2 am. Also, you might consider having them sent only on the bottom of the hour (15:30, 17:30, etc.) since so much happens at the top of the hour.

Could you allow flashing at meals. It would be rare since a girl would flash you only when she is alone, and meal times are usually crowded. Girls who flash even though people are watching (Eva, Desire, etc.) might have their dialogue changed to: "Come closer so no one can see what we're doing." Or even: "It gets me hot to know everyone is watching this."

Regarding the Looks stat, you could use it to influence how much a girl's affection/love/lust stat increases when you hug/kiss/grope her. Looks could add or subtract to the relevant stat as: Looks 0 = -2, Looks 1 = -1, Looks 2 = 0, Looks 3 = +1, Looks 4 = +2, Looks 5 = +3. This would really help with a girl like Faye whose Lust goes to 0 and needs to be built up again without a green pill.

A few dialogue options need to be added like you have in Faye's pole dance scene. Where there is a chance of cumming in your pants, you could have text pop up asking if you want to take a purple or red pill so that you don't have an accident. Text offering you the chance to sneak a blue pill during the breast bump scene would be nice. Also, when having dinner in Amy's room, and she bends over at the table, you might offer the option of a sneak check to see if you can spike her drink with a green pill. Accessing the phone during cut scenes is apparently impossible, and the text option is an elegant solution. It would be great if it were added to more scenes.

The level 3 Hack could add a highlight to the girl's name in your watch when she is in need of attention and her love and affection is in danger of being reduced.

I posted a lot of suggestions, but I also want to say that I love the game! My favorite new addition is the Wet Tshirt contest, but I also love the improvements to masturbating and the Eva night sex scene is the best yet (and that's saying something)! Hello Darkhound, I really appreciate your style of reporting many incoming details, on soon to be patches, with many additons. My problem is, that you do so many additons to the patchnotes, that is difficault for me to see what you added just now. Dont get me wrong, it is really great that you spend so much time, telling us, what you are planing to add, but maybe you could put the most recent changes in a different color ? Or only send us the new changes, and not the complete changelog ? The changelog could still be on this site, however. Keep up the good work.

Everything you read in the patch notes is new and has not been released yet. Since I have no way of knowing when each and every one of you has read it last time, there is no way of marking the yet unknown "to you" stuff. In General, new information is always added in the first lines of each section. (with the exception of unfinished stuff which will be moved to the top, if I don't forget to do it that is :) ). I can not send information to the patrons at all if I update the development news, if you prefer that.

I would like to see Yumiko Bartend 1 more day a week. You changed the chances that after last call, the bartender would be alone. Would it be better to move the last call to 2am, then have her always be alone? I'm not sure, just asking, because I like that Yumiko can change the attractiveness number, but it can be denied by her not being alone.

Oh Carla (Jessica's sister) added to the game even in a small capacity would be grand. Opens up a lot of future scenes, events, etc. possibilities. I can see where adding new girls to the game is/will be tough because so many of the current girls aren't completed yet. At least with all their scenes, appointments, and so on. Yet besides sleeping with Jennifer and Yumilko, how much more can you actually do? I don't see Joy turning the 'Help' loose on the island and allow them full access to everything. So your room, their room, in the bar, the pool for a late night swim. Although fun I'm sure I just can't see them being invited up to the new VIP room. But you have been dead on with all your latest additions and upgrades, so I'll defer to the master and see what the latest updates bring.

I think that adding Carla as a bartender would be great, but first the beach bar would have to become a real location. Then the 3 girls could take turns manning both locations. Another idea I had was to assign girls to jobs like housekeeping or reception instead of sending them home. This too would require some infrastructure, like more girls capable of doing housekeeping. All in good time. First let's get all the girls to flash their boobs.

After the MC unlocks Amy posing in her lingerie, can you add Amy calling for an appointment to pose for you like Aly does? Or maybe add it as an option for after dinner with Amy? The reason I ask is because one time I didn't have enough endurance and left halfway through, and it doesn't repeat. I went back to a previous save and got it again, but even though I saw all the images, they're not all shown in the achievements page.

The scene is already repeatable. You only need to catch Amy in the nightwear you got her and she will pose for you again.

Hurray! Jennifer & Yumiko will be flashing their boobs! Can you make the flashing action an achievement? So that for each girl who flashes, you can add the pic to your achievements on your phone. We'd have to get 8 or 9 pics for each girl, but could it be handled like sexting?
