Step 2: When Link is close enough, push him into the gloom.

Step 3: Hold him in place so he can't get back up.

Step 4: ???

The gloom will reshape him and make him stronger, but now he is following the orders of Ganon. And to think that a single smart Bokoblin could end Link's journey in an instant.

It's unfortunate that the game doesn't slowly cover Link in gloom as he loses more strength, so I wanted to give it a try myself. The underground features plenty of gloom-covered monsters, therefore this isn't even too far-fetched as to what could happen to him in such a scenario.
