Futaba's New Persona (Persona 5 Royal) (Patreon)

Futaba may be one of the best hackers around, however some of her traces as a Phantom Thief were not left unnoticed. A mysterious opposing force managed to infiltrate her electronic devices and set up a trap room within Mementos that she could not escape from. 

Whoever set the trap must have found a way to bypass restrictions around which arcanas can use which personas. To test that theory, Futaba was the first to be infused with a new persona, Black Ooze of the "Moon" arcana, as opposed to Futaba 's "Hermit" arcana.

"The experiment seems to be successful, yet the test subject has been highly altered in both body and mind. A possible side effect might be the mismatch of the arcanas or perhaps even a general reaction to the method of the transformation. It matters not, hindering her from her tasks as a Phatom Thief is a bonus, not a problem. I will consider further testing on other Phantom Thieves to refine the process and corrupt more minds."
