You had always hated being an adult. The constant hassle of the day-to-day was agony on both your mind and body. You missed being a child. With 0 care in the world. Your greatest worry was which dinosaur was going to be your favorite. You tried to find things to give you that same sensation and feeling of being young again. Cartoons, toys, video games, diapers. Tho all fun in their own ways they never truly satisfy that want and need to be young. For no matter how much you delve deep into them losing yourself in these activities in the end you always had to return to the adult world. You fantasized over things like fountains of youth, magic spells, and fringe science to make you a baby again. But all were fiction.

However.

Over time you began to hear stories of a place that could give you what you wanted. At first, you thought it was just jokes or urban myth. But you began to hear about it more and more. Not constantly mind you but enough times to make you seriously start to consider the legitimacy of these stories. Could it be real? The story went as follows. On cold nights in parts of town not lucky enough to have lights to illuminate them people would hear the sound of music. Music that was reminiscent of songs one would hear on infantile shows like Barney or Sesame Street. No singing just music. And if one were to follow the sound they would find a playroom. a playroom filled with toys that the more you played with them the younger you would get.

This story, if true, would be the perfect answer to your problems. So against your better judgment, you set out looking. For nights you scoured the darkest parts of the city. Dangerous but you had convinced yourself it was worth it. Then one night as you walked by an overgrown abandoned building you heard it. Faint, barely catching your ears. At first, you thought it was your mind playing tricks on you but the sound never went away. Playful childlike music drifted from this old abandoned building. You ran towards it and as you did the music grew louder which made you run faster. And then you saw it. In the shadows of this building was a light to a room that didn’t match the rest of the building. The music was pouring from the room. Without a second thought, you ran inside. Once inside, the atmosphere changed you would never even think this room was in an old abandoned building. There were toys littering the ground. Toys you recognized from your youth and newer toys you had seen at stores and on tv. There was a wall covered in shelves filled with all kinds of childish snacks and food. You quickly dropped to the floor to play with some action figures. Almost immediately you felt your clothes get looser. It was working it was actually working!! You grabbed more toys to play with as you watched yourself shrink into your clothes. It was a slow process but it was happening. You noticed your underwear wasn’t staying the same as it was changing with you. Now in your late teens, your underwear looked more childish. You continued to play and continued to physically regress. Eventually, around 14, you walked over to the snack wall. You could tell you were in that thick training underwear. At the snack wall, you began to shovel food of all kinds into your mouth. You weren’t growing younger as you did, but you were definitely growing fatter as pounds of baby fat started to accumulate across your body. Now practically obese you waddled back to play with the toys. Plopping yourself onto the ground you started playing again. Regressing even more. Your body staying proportionally as fat even though you were technically getting lighter. Soon you heard your underwear crinkle for they had become pull-ups. As you were now no longer a teen but a kid. You played and played as you felt your fat body weaken and shrink your pull-ups become a thick diaper before you were even a toddler. Which in some way made sense to you. You felt a grumble in your stomach as you instinctively pushed feeling the Seat of your diaper sag. You knew you had lost your potty training. But right before you had regressed to being an infant, you saw it. At the entrance, subtlely hidden in the shadows that the room’s light didn’t reach, you saw it. A figure tall frail elongated and thin. Almost elongated. Or at least you knew it was you couldn’t see its entire form. But you knew deep down you were being watched. This whole time you were being watched. And then it hit you. You had been putting yourself on a silver plate. This whole time as you played and shrank and fattened yourself up you were making yourself less and less able to fight or flee this thing. In a state of panic, you tried to get to your feet. It was hard with how fat and young you now were. But you still managed it. Proving you weren’t an infant just yet. You took a step as you felt your obese toddler body jiggle and sway. It was heavy, maybe too heavy to run. The best you thought you could manage was a “fast” waddle. So you thought. picking up a toy you might be able to distract or fight it off. The toy you picked up was one of those toy phones on wheels with the rope connecting the phone to the receiver. A makeshift flail if used right. As you waddled closer to the entrance you heard it breathing. You had to be exact and fast with your plan. You could feel yourself getting tired from just waddling this far. But as you reached to entrance the breathing grew heavier. I’m a burst of energy you slung the toy phone at the figure in the shadow. You still couldn’t fully see it but you know you hit it. With a sharp plasticy smash and a childish ring, the toy got its mark. What followed was What sounded like bones snapping and a thud as the creature fell to the ground. It released a guttural ear-piercing shrike. What you thought were limbs wildly flailed about. But you didn’t stay to see you took off waddling as fast and as hard as you could. Tears trailed off your face. Making it outside the building you almost collapsed as you were so out of breath. And then you felt something ever so slightly tug on your diaper. In a panic, you grabbed it realizing it was just a stuffed animal bunny that seemed to have been snagged. You let out a sigh of relief. Hugging the bunny. But as you did you felt your legs give out. Falling onto your padded butt. Now no longer a toddler but a full infant. As you tried to stand your brain couldn’t figure it out. I’m your mobilized state you heard it. Something crawling towards you quickly from the shadows.
