Proof of Life 8/22/22 (Patreon)

Hey guys, Sorry I went dark for about a week. After a trying time with a health issue my daughter went through, we made last minute plans to take a small family vacation before our kids summer vacation was over. I know this isn't fair to any of you, my supporters, but it's something I felt I owed my family.  

Images and Videos are all rendered, and have been for a bit. I'm still working on the writing of the script and coding. It's taking longer than anticipated. More because of external factors such as work, family, and life in general. I know at some point the excuses build up to look like I'm just stringing supporters along and wasting time, and since you don't know me or my character it's hard to take my word that I'm really doing the best I can, and unfortunately that's all I can give you is my word that I'm doing my best. I'll admit that there have been some days where I had some free time to work on the game, but I just didn't have it in me. but those days have been few and far between. If I ever get to the point where I have any prolonged burnout, I'll put my Patreon on hold and stop taking money while I sort myself out. 

The update is coming very soon. There's less than a weeks worth of work to get it out, and by that I don't mean full time work, since this is not my full time job, I mean after hours work. I just need to get some free evenings to get it done. Now that my kids are going back to school, they'll be going to bed early again, making my nights and evenings that much less chaotic.

Although I majorly missed the goal on this update, I'll keep making those goals and try and figure out when I need to start transitioning from image creation to writing, to fine tuning etc... I'm going to figure out how to be a better dev. You guys are amazingly generous, patient, and supportive, and I want to deserve that support and trust. I can't thank you all enough for all the support!
