Hey folks, it's that time again. The Rules Lawyers have put in their suggestions and I've got a fresh batch of games to choose from. Results were quite spread out amongst the bevy of great options, but two of them did just eke out an extra vote, bringing them to the fore. But of course, we start with the #2 pick from the last poll.

Brass Birmingham: This just barely lost out to War of the Ring last time, so I fully expect it to do well again. This beautified sequel to 2007's Brass is a heavy economic game whose strategy is perfectly represented in its artwork. Intense, a little dark, and immediately intriguing. While there are already a few good rules videos out there for this one, I think it's complexity make it a good choice for an RTFM teach.

Gaia Project: The sci-fi reimplementation of Terra Mystica tied for first in the suggestions poll. While I haven't played Gaia Project, I have played Terra Mystica exactly once and I always wanted to go back to it, but never got the chance. Now it's got a fresh coat of paint, a spacey alien theme (personal favorite), and a variable player board. Color me interested.

Game of Thrones: Also tied for first is the great big box of medieval themed fantasy violence and betrayal. The franchise has lost a bit of love due to the last season of the show, but the game still has a cult following. This is another game that I've wanted to play for quite some time, but getting a group together (especially under quarantine) is not always the easiest to do. Still, being one of those games that keeps bringing new people in, this would be a great choice for the RTFM treatment.

Nemesis: My Editor's choice is largely inspired by my love for the movie Alien (also Aliens, and the other movies too, but those are more of the fun garbage variety). The quintessential sci-fi haunted house movie is now a legally distinct board game and I'd love to give it a try. It's currently a little out of print, but there are reprints coming and I'm pretty sure I can get a copy of it either way.

This poll will end on July 5th at noon (PDT), and you can choose as many options as you like.

Man, I just backed the new Nemesis on kickstarter and I would love an RTFM treatment on it!
