As you may have guessed from the header image, I will be making a rules video for Middara. This game was kickstarted an age ago, but is finally getting to backers soon and will be launching a 2nd print run KS with some rules updates shortly after. I've been playing this a bunch to learn it and I gotta say it's pretty fun. It's an anime-styled dungeon crawl with a huge story behind it. Seriously, the adventure book is almost 500 pages long. It's very over the top, but if you can get behind Rook Lars here, the "prodigious student" (yes, really) you'll find a lot to love.

And on top of that, like just about any big kickstarter, there's also a ton of weird minis.

I've been hired by Succubus publishing to do this and I'll be making it in addition to our regularly scheduled rules video, which (unless you folks put in a few last minute votes for Arkham Horror) looks to be Terraforming Mars! I think I'm going to try and get the expansions on this one as well. Haven't tried them, but from what I hear I can fit all of their content into a single extra video. Very Exciting.

In other news, I will be at Dice Tower West in a few days! If any of you are going to be there, let me know! I'd love to meet, play games, and personally thank you for your help in keeping this ship afloat. Message or tweet at me and we can set up a time to meet up.

And lastly, I wanted to mention my How to Teach video that went up recently. Something that a lot of you have been asking for is just more content. And while I desperately want to make more rules videos, unless they're being commissioned like this Middara video, I unfortunately can't budget the time to make more than I already am (for now). In the meantime though, I figured these How to Teach videos could be something to put up during those long stretches between new tutorial videos. Between these, the tutorials, and the extra videos I produce, I can say that RTFM will put up at least one video every month.

As always, thank you for your support. I'm hard at work on Root and I'm very excited to see that out by the end of March. Ooooh boy, that's coming up. Gotta get back to it.
