Hey Rules Lawyers! Quick post this month because holidays got me pretty busy.

Haven't been able to film the Spirit Island video yet, but it should be happening in the next few days, which means it'll be on track to go up by New Years. I don't know about you guys, but I'm very excited about the expansion that they just kickstarted. Those new spirits look very interesting.

While that's being worked on, the polls are in and the next game taught will be Root! I've only gotten a chance to play this once so far, but I was hooked by it and I'm very excited to dive in and get to work on it.

One other big thing is that there's a new backer level! I'll be adding a special thanks section to the videos, so if you want to be added to that, it's available for $10+ backers.

The most interesting game I played this month was actually an indie roll-and-write game called Dragonvault. I like playing little games like this while watching tv and I recently started watching X-Files from the beginning, so this has been a great thing to occupy my hands with. The scoring is a little luck heavy, but for a $3 game, it gets the job done.

And as always, I'll round off with my 10x10 progress. I'm almost at 50% completion, which is less than I was hoping for, but I had no way of knowing just how much of my time Gloomhaven was going to occupy so oh well. I had fun with this, but if I do it again next year I'm definitely going to be a little less ambitious with certain games. Especially games I don't own.
