It is finally here. If you haven't followed me for a while, you might not know that I decided to teach Above and Below a full year ago. I had been finishing my Dead of Winter script, I had just gotten Above and Below, decided it was the cat's pajamas and vowed to teach it "next." I had written the script a little bit later but couldn't wrangle my friends to help me film it for a while. Then, as things were getting close to happening, Twilight Imperium 4th edition got announced and I realized that in order to get that done in anything close to a timely manner I would have to put Above and Below on the back burner. Now I've changed how I pick games, but I felt like I owed it to myself to finish this one that I started so long ago.

Anyway, it's done now, there will be a few more extra videos coming up soon, and then Captain Sonar will be up next. I'll get a new poll up in the next couple weeks, so look out for that. Spirit Island was so close to being the next game that it'll definitely stay on, and probably Gloomhaven, since I just got that one. We'll see what else finds it's way there.

As for what I've been up to, it's been a good month of gaming for me. I got to try a new game called Space Base, which is a little bit like Machi Koro but with spaceships. I actually like it a lot better than Machi Koro though, because each of the ships you can buy are unique, so you develop a strategy as you go. I also won a copy of Dice City, which is another dice-centric tableau building game, and it's good, but it's not as good as Space Base. (I'm trying to get Geek and Sundry to let me write an article about it so that the designer will send me a copy before it gets released this month. Fingers crossed)

I've also been playing a lot of Dungeons and Dragons. I'm currently in two campaigns, one of which is a podcast called Plunders and Blunders 2. They haven't officially announced it yet, but Plunders and Blunders, which you can find here, and features such roleplayers as Gina DeVivo and Sam De Leve (who you might recognize from a bunch of GnS twitch shows) is launching a new campaign with all new characters and I'm one of them! 

We got together to paint our custom miniatures and, while I have precisely zero experience in mini painting, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I might fix some of the little details later on, but for now I'm proud enough to show it off

I am so excited for all of you to meet my insane lizard chef, so as soon as more info becomes available I'll let you all know.
