I don’t think the answers you got here were because someone was bothered. What you mentioned was related to a mistranslation, so it was the right thing to mention and explain that. I would never care if they are all straight or none of them is honestly, they are just amazing artists and people, but they themselves have shown that they are uncomfortable when people assume things. So in my opinion we will know about their relationship status and other stuff when they will reveal those things. Also, in general I do agree with you that some people would be bothered if one of them is not straight, but also some people will be bothered if in 10 years they are all married (with women) for example, as the fandom is diverse and a lot of people fantasize whatever they want about these guys.
