TOP SECRET Martian Alpha Art (Patreon)

Today I have a secret, behind-the-scenes character from the martian game to share with you. These images are not for social media at this point, (I'm still keeping the game under wraps at the moment,) but I am really excited about this and wanted to share it with you today here on Patreon.

The image shows 5 of the key starting factions of the game: The Crewman, the Military, Infested Zombies, Pirates, and Mercs. Each faction has specific gear and weapons and designs that have been really fun to concept out and come up with. (Lots of fun narrative work that has been going on behind the scenes that I can't share yet!) I LOVE designing these! In the coming months you will be seeing several other new martian characters with faction variations like this one.

So what is happening with the martian project? Any more updates?  

Yes! I am dropping a concept art post in the $5 tier later today, with all the wacky pencil and watercolor sketch work we've been doing on stream and off this past month. Then next week I am dropping a new article in the Tutorials tier discussing the journey thus far, the style changes, finding the voice, overcoming adversity, and where we are in this passion project. 

I am so excited for where things are right now with the project. The art I can show may be limited, and we may not be ready to show any pre-alpha gameplay yet, but by the end of year one, we should have a solid base of concept art and game design, as well as having 50 gameplay-ready bad guys finished. It won't be a perfect score for 2022, but it will be close! 

Now to just get a finished splash painting before the end of the year...
