The Faerie Queene Project: Work from May (Patreon)

To kick off June, I have 4 images from the Faerie Queene to share with you!  Most of these were drawn live on our Twitch streams this past month. The first is Lucifera and her dragon atop a pile of bones:

After which, we tackled King Arthur and his squire journeying to confront the giant Orgoglio:

And speaking of the Giant Orgoglio, we also tackled his epic battle with the Red Cross Knight, (Spoiler: it ends badly for the Red Cross Knight.)  

This was one of the best drawing streams too, it just progressed really well. So much of this I chalk up to all the planning done in the clean line drawing ahead of time, and the really wonderful visual language in the text describing the scene.  

So what's NEXT?:  

We will be diving into one of the most insane chaotic scenes I've ever done. King Arthur and his squire battling Duessa on her many-headed Beast during the quest to free the Red Cross Knight from Orgoglio's dungeons. I cannot wait for this one. It's going to be the most complex scene we've done since the Scorpion Battle! It's just one monster, but it feels like we are getting to work on so many in this scene!! Color too??  We will see!
