Today, I have a hefty rewards bag for you all! I finally have The Glom is finally finished and ready to post for Halloween!
THE GLOM- A silent and towering monster, which haunts the swampy lowlands and misty forests; the Glom has no true vision, but it can hear footfalls and the crunching of leaves, sense ripples in water, disturbances in mist, and of course, the sound of screams. If awoken from its firefly reverie it will follow the sounds of any fleeing interlopers and if it catches them will crush or drown them with limbs of terrible strength. Those who have tried to fell this abomination have never been seen again.

THE GLOM BRUSH SET: We also have a new brush set for this monster which offers some brushes with some pretty wild wet-into-wet style watercolor effects. I have been loving working with a new brush called "Plague Marker" which does some really cool effects the longer you keep the pen pressed down. All of the brushes have a sort of liquid graphite look to them that proved to be highly useful for this image. I am really looking forward to using them to re-detail any areas on the Scorpkin Battle where I need to redraw and lost lines.
SCORPKIN PROCESS GUIDE: This month I finally put together my Scorpkin Step-by-Step in an effort to try and remember the process I used when I first painted that. (It's been 70 monsters later, and the Scorpkin, which was only the 3rd monster we made, still feels like one of the best). I have used this process for the Scorpkin Battle, which I am still desperately trying to finish by the end of the month!
Lastly, tomorrow I will be posting our first hero vignette!! Phineus in the Archmage's tower library! Can't wait to start sharing these new drawings!
