Classic Fantasy Illustration for May 2019 Hi-Res Drawing (Patreon)

Hi guys! Today I have the drawing for an image from my upcoming sketchbook "A Plague of Dragons" that will be our Classic Fantasy Illustration for May. 

This drawing was drawn on Strathmore 400 Series Smooth Bristol using Kimberly's pencils and a Staedtler 0.5mm 925.

This is one of the few times when I ended up being able to stick very close to it. (I always love it when that happens)

I'm looking forward to digging in to the color work on this one! Not sure what I'll be going with yet. My initial comps had the colors to be misty and muted, but now that I am here I am finding myself being drawn to more dramatic evening tones to make better use of the candles.
