Martian of the Month Sketchbook Spread Hi-Res Download (Patreon)

Today I have the hi-res spread to share with you from our recent drawing streams on Twitch! These feature a menagerie of pestilential martian miscreants drawn purely from imagination. Like the previous spreads from this series, these are for the upcoming sketchbook and creature guide from the Martian of the Month project.

Most of these monsters started out simply as rats, but as I drew them, I slowly let go of the idea of "rat" and replaced it with other pest creatures, (grubs, scorpions, moles, and so on) and then kept drawing to see where the pencil would lead me. This mental process doesn't always work out perfectly, as they are often results that are just too wacky to use, but it does help keep things original and interesting. While drawing these I am always challenging myself to not do the same thing twice. Don't get lazy!! Try out different core design shapes, different ingredients, different personalities, don't do the same thing twice!

The above is a bonus "B-Sides" half-page from the next spread, which I am still working on to make it a full 2-pages. There is a good chance this batch will end up as a poll next month. More on that in the upcoming Roadmap for May!
