I will not be reacting to Benidorm going forward. It’s been pretty obvious over the last 10 or so Benidorm reactions that I’m not enjoying it anymore. For fans of the show, I’m sorry. But I just can’t do it anymore. I’d rather move on to reactions I enjoy doing.


I’ve also received some pretty nasty feedback about not liking Benidorm for a while, even today somebody called me a twat about it. If I ever react to a show that you like and I end up not enjoying it at some point, I’m sorry but it’s just not for me. I don’t like some things that are considered great by everybody else. I also really like some things that are considered first class dog shit. But if somebody doesn’t like something that I like, I certainly wouldn’t call them names or threaten to leave. If anything I would quietly slip away like a muppet into the night. I also react to several shows so if you only joined the Patreon for one particular reaction, you’re really missing out on what I consider some of the best television I’ve ever seen that people from the UK should be proud of.

I've always thought Benidorm was ropey, even the first couple of series. Proper lowest common denominator shite. (I do enjoy Benidorm the place) Glad you've binned it.

Yeah I think Benidorm became unwatchable quite quickly too so don't blame you, you can't react to a show you don't like, when you do like a show you and the queen are my favourite reactors around. One thing I'd love to see you add is reactions to full length episodes of comedy panel shows, like Taskmaster, Shooting Stars or QI, that would be awesome, I'm not sure I've ever seen you react to any QI, it's sort of a comedy quiz panel show of sorts about Quite Interesting facts or theories on many topics, a lot of your favourite comics like David Mitchel and Sean Locke were regulars on it, in fact it's still going and has been for around 20 years now.

Basically everything except IT crowd I enjoy watching. Hopefully you can start Mitchell and Webb, spaced, this country, people do nothing or black books soon dude :) really good British humour.

We are all hopefully here because we enjoy the Boomer family and their output - regardless whether the shows covered are to our taste. We can always ignore the ones we don't like. I'm not a fan of Plebs, for instance, so I just don't go there. KB already has a list - an enormous list, and anything you might suggest is probably already on it. So all these repetitive comments are fruitless. He will pick whatever he feels he can manage in the fullness of time. So instead of mindlessly suggesting things, actually talk about the video that you've just seen and create some decent conversation. What's the point otherwise? I'm sorry but it's just weird, and sometimes makes me feel like I'm surrounded by 10 year olds that are out with their parents at the supermarket, stamping their feet because they want a lollipop. But not just any lollipop, no, one that they like, which isn't actually in stock.

I agree in pulling any show you don't like, Benidorm went downhill after series 2 and changing from half hour to hourly episodes was a big mistake. The last series was dreadful. I also don't get the people who get angry at you doing this, just because they like the show. We all have certain shows we don't like (IT Crowd and Peep Show in my case), but I wouldn't dream of making a fuss over it or ask you to stop them.
