Shit On It, Not the End !!

Blake

Another double ! Loved seeing you both react to this series! Rewatching these with you has been a hilarious trip down memory lane.

Raul

Please check out Fresh Meat

Rachael

RIP Paul Ritter. What a finale 💗

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

One of my favourite shows. Although it did sort of become a parody of itself towards the end, but most shows do sort of go down in quality over time.

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

The lads were in their early 30s in this. While the show spanned 6 series, it was over about 10 years I think. And they were in their early 20s at the start. Simon Bird was born the same year I was so he would have been around 35 here.

Anonymous

Hi KB, you should watch the documentary aswell, it was just before Paul Ritters passing. But goid to see the cast and creator talking about the show

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

Sometimes we say "the" too. It depends I think. Like I will say "I'm going to bed" but I wouldn't say "I'm going to bedroom." And I would say I'm going to the loo / bathroom / toilet. Not I'm going to loo / bathroom / toilet.

ThetaSigmaTheOriginal

I learned French for four years in high school, in the UK. And I'm sad to say, apart from some basic words, I've forgotten everything I've learned. Language has to be used regularly to remember a lot of it. I have always had a certain amount of respect for people who have learned and can speak multiple languages. I've just been fortunate to live in a society that speaks English which is a first or second language in most places, in movies and shows etc.

Lee

If you’re thinking of another series to react to which doesn’t have episodes of 45 mins+ then maybe The IT Crowd - by the same writers who wrote Father Ted I believe.

Mark Parker

She’s Beautiful

TravellingBlade

Sorry to see the back of Friday Night Dinner

Anonymous

I feel they always made the right decision to axe it after Paul’s death. That being said I hope one day it will return or a spin off maybe but in the shoes of Johnny and Adams children grown up. now when we watching Derry girls 😏

Amanda

its the final countdown! should have added that part in. lol

Harry Brett (Chef)

Great series to watch along with you this one.

AitchyB

Hey Kb, just some suggestions for the next series, no worries if not but you’d enjoy them all I’m sure. -Fresh Meat -Blackadder -White Gold -come fly with me / little Britain ( defo wouldn’t make it to YT though )

Geraint Harrison

Some British people are very and I mean incredibly awkward about confronting problems, the glass scenario is genuinely very close to when my friend didn’t know how to tell his girlfriend he accidentally put peanuts into a curry sauce. She has a peanut allergy.

Jay

It's been great fun revisiting Friday Night Dinner with you both, thank you.

Anonymous

Fresh meat and white gold are a must!

Brendan

Sick of it is one to watch, Karl Pilkington is the two main characters and I recognized a story or two from his days at xfm so definitely some inspiration from his life growing up

Seltro1

Looking forward to the new shows you'll be reacting to in the future. If you're open for a suggestion I'd like to recommend the series 'Garth Marenghi's Darkplace'. Only one season, six episodes. I won't say too much about it to avoid spoilers, but as boomers I think you'll get a real kick out of it.

Vicky Michelle

Been great watching Friday Night Dinner with you guys.

Logan

Please watch fresh meat

Lee Organ

I’m an English teacher in Spain, and my youngest students were 6 months old! Literally! As for me learning Spanish? I’ve been here for 8 years and I bet queen boomers Spanish is better than mine! 😩

Central Hub

End of an era great reactions, you would love awkward puppets

Anonymous

You should watch White Gold, Joe Thomas and James Buckley from the inbetweeners are in it, it shows you what 80's Britain looked like

Anonymous

Please watch two pints of larger and a packet of crisp

Craig Day

White gold!

theOraclelives

LOL pretty sure the lads are meant to be mid 20s! simon bird especially doesnt look close to 19 he looks about 28 in the last season.

LT2000

watch the documentary, nice send off for paul

James Pepper

The most significant televisual event since Quantum Leap. And I do not say that lightly.

Craig Burns

I would definitely watch a re run of the inbetweeners again, jay and simon were in a series called white gold which was quite funny worth a watch

Gary Tamblyn

Simon Bird was around 23 when he STARTED filming the Inbetweeners, in 2007 believe it or not. The guy that played Simon (Joe Thomas) was a year older. So they were around 25 / 26 when they played their last term at School. Simon Bird is now 39.

Toast

IT Crowd will be good .Green Wing would be my shout but ..ye know

dale m

love friday night dinner but... only fools and red dwarf?? need some 90's good shows uploaded. Them two my favs. Ignore plebs and man down them shows not that funny tbh

dale m

IT crowd is such garbage british comedy. though.. green wing good and spaced cos mark heap in it and and both simon pegg in spaced. Great actors

Anonymous

White gold is good

Andrew

Yeah it'd be nice to see them react to "FND: Ten Years and A Lovely Bit of Squirrel", a lovely farewell for Paul Ritter.

Ryan Mitchell

This Country on BBC IPlayer would be an hilarious show for you and Queen Boomer to watch. Also Brassic is a must watch for you both in the future one of the funniest shows I’ve watched in a long time.

Stanley

White Gold Is Brilliant

Dan

Gavin and Stacey would be good for you both

Anonymous

Two doors down

Give Outnumbered a go

Anonymous

Great series you can also watch the the documenty that’s very good

Phil Robinson

I'd never watched FND before I started this journey with you - it just seemed to pass me by when broadcast, even though I loved Robert Popper's previous works. It's been a joy to watch the whole thing through with you both, and I'm now very fond of it as a whole. This finale was unexpectedly touching - was waiting for something horrible to happen but thankfully it didn't arrive!

Phil Robinson

Any idea where I can find the full documentary? I've looked on YT and it just seems to be short clips. I'd love to see the whole thing. EDIT - Never mind - found it on C4/All4/My4 streaming, or whatever they're calling it these days!

Jammy Dodger

I don't know if many other people have recommended it but I think you and Queen Boomer would love Outnumbered

Daniel Colton

Does he have a P.O box ? Incase we want to send British stuff for them to try

James

by my reckoning, Peep show is next..?! PeedePeePee

Phil Robinson

Just finished watching the documentary - great stuff and a lovely thing to cap it off - highly recommended if you can get a copy - I watched it on All4 (Channel 4's streaming site) but I have a subscription - sure other sources are available.

Raul

From what I've seen I don't think they will like it all too much. It was an amazing show though, especially the youngest two - the show was elevated by them two.

Raul

I'm going to be so upset when they finish it...

James

They did another show I think..? Not seen it myself but could be a good follow on? Gonna miss Peep tho

Blake

You should check out Zapped with James Buckley. Also white gold 100% !

BigChanChan

Dale... I know comedy is subjective but anyone who doesn't find all the shows you've mentioned funny that you don't like, including, Man Down, Plebs and especially IT Crowd needs to go in a straight jacket.

Squanchy

Zapped is quality! Shame more people haven't heard of it.

Squanchy

As someone already pointed out, another show you should add to the list is Zapped. It's basically a less raunchier version of Jay from Inbetweeners, who was magically transported into an Elizabethan era alternate Earth with magic.

Squanchy

Outnumbered isn't a type of show that warrants a reaction video. Same goes with Brassic. Excellent show but not reaction worthy.

Anonymous

the ricky gervais show i recommend, more great karl humour. it might not be as much QB's kinda show though as idiot abroad.

ryung246

IT crowd & Outnumbered are poor and unfunny compared to the other shows you've already done / are doing, and could do instead... Off the top of my head there's: Brassic ('Snatch meets 'Inbetweeners' with Grumio from plebs) Misfits ('The boys' meets 'Inbetweeners') You, me and the apocalypse (Johnson & Dobby's ex from peep show, stylax from plebs - Only 10 episodes) Gavin and Stacey (UK cult classic) Peter kay content: Phoenix nights / Max & Paddys road to nowhere (UK cult classics) Peter Kays car share (Only 10 episodes but funny / underrated) Featuring Inbetweeners actors: Fresh Meat (Simon - UK University life) White Gold (Simon & Jay as salesmen, set in 80's UK) Everyone else burns (Will as part of a religious cult - Funny & has its moments but other shows on the list are better) Ricky, Steve & Karl content: The Office (UK) (No explanation needed) Extras (Ricky as a struggling actor & steve as his agent, only 12 episodes) Sick of it (Karl - Decent, only 10 episodes) Moaning of Life (Essentially more idiot abroad) 70's & 80's content: Open all hours (Del boy from only fools and horses) 'Allo 'Allo (Comedy in a ww2 setting)

Ryan Mitchell

For the 70s & 80s content I think RISING DAMP would be a funny one? But I have to agree with all the shows you have listed all hilarious uk shows

Anonymous

Whoever said misfits, that is a great shout. Such a funny show

David Hunter

A Patreon re-run of the Inbetweeners reaction is what I have been waiting for! but can't wait for the the It Crowb

Andrew Roberts

Steptoe and Son, Dad’s Army, ‘Allo, ‘Allo, Hi-Di-Hi, Knowing Me, Knowing You (Alan Partridge + his spin off shows), all shows that I think have a lot of silliness and awkward British humour King and Queen Boomer would love!

Jay

I disagree with you that the I.T. Crowd isn't funny, especially as I think it's a perfect one for both King and Queen B to react to together (having enjoyed Father Ted previously), but you made some really good suggestions there. I also love that you've included 'Allo 'Allo which oddly enough has aged far better than a lot of early 80's comedies, yet never gets any reactions. (Although it does go massively off the rails later on).

Tribesmen

You have got to watch derry girls

Steve G

I would rather watch the IT Crowd or Outnumbered over any show you mentioned 😅 I think they would enjoy Outnumbered as new parents. Moaning of Life and Fresh Meat are a good shout though.

Matty

IT crowd, white gold or Gavin and Stacey

Anonymous

Try Bad Education or White Gold please.

Mark Jones

Another show I really hope you watch one day is 'Spaced', the tv show which came before the 'Cornetto Trilogy' with the same director and many of the same actors, it would be a relatively quick one too as it's only 2 series, one of the episodes where Simon Pegg plays Resident Evil then dreams about killing zombies was part of the inspiration behind making Shaun of the Dead, I think you'd also get a kick out of recognising some familiar faces from the films in the tv series.

Kristopher Barton

Finish Bottom, please! The best UK series you haven't done yet: - One Foot in the Grave (dealing with retirement) - I'm Alan Partridge - Early Doors (British pub culture, where James McAvoy got his start) - The Royal Family (not 100% sure American's will get it - working class family, sitting in front of a TV) - Open All Hours - Porridge - The Detectives - Pheonix Nights (Nothern humour) - Car Share - Taskmaster - The Mighty Boosh - Garth Marenghi's Dark Place (1 season) - Nathan Barley (1 season) - Spaced (epic Simon Pegg and Nick Frost comedy with a number of faces you'll recognise) - Still Game (Scottish genius) - Men Behaving Badly - The Trip - Outnumbered - 50 Storey's High (underrated Sean Lock story, with Benedict Wong from the Marvel movies) - Auf Weidersein, Pet (more of a dramady) - The Fast Show - Inside No 9 - The Young One's - Dinnerladies

Stephen Giles

Gavin and Stacey + Derry Girls would be good for you two. The Queen will definitely like some of the later OFAH episodes for sure.

Mark Jones

Yeah ok, we like all the same shows! 🤣 I'd love to see an 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' reaction and I'd really love to see a 'Nathan Barley' reaction as it's all about the early days of being a content provider or a "Self-Facilitating Media Node" ...effing love that show! 🤣 Boomer you should pencil every show on this list down on your future to-watch list!

Squanchy

I'm surprised no one recommended Ideal with Johnny Vegas.

Stanley

IT Crowd Has A Few Good Episodes But It's Mostly Very Boring

Anonymous

I wonder how old you Boomers are, you look so young but have a child and talk as mature ppl, so I am confused :D Btw. thanks for all the great Friday Night Dinner Reactions, I have really enjoyed both the series and your reactions to it :D

ChrisDavid

Surprised no one has suggested Him and Her

Anonymous

Oooh so cute when princess boomer interrupts :D

Nicholas Fox

i think you should try, Ideal 2005, Johnny vegas as main character, he's a lazy weed dealer with a collection of unique crazy customers good comedy. Plus while am here a film, sex lifes of the potato men. Comedy staring johny vegas

Phil Robinson

Some people here are forgetting what was proclaimed by our illustrious King and Queen a wee while ago. I'd refer some people to that particular statement.

Aaron

Gavin and Stacey is a good shout

Anonymous

Also gavin and Stacey is really good

LiamShaer7

Dude you guys should just rewatch the inbetweeners, it'll be even funnier cause you have more context of the British culture now, i'd be so down to watch it as well, inbetweeners is just as funny every time I watch it.

Anonymous

Give Game On a try sort of same humour as the inbetweeners has

Zakir Hussain

On the buses or Are you being served should be an option. Please react to any of these shows

Sarah Garraway

Would love to see you react to cuckoo or outnumbered

Anonymous

Royle family, early doors, gavin and stacy or outnumbered

Beccy

IT Crowd please! You would love it

Zakir Hussain

I prefer old comedy classic sitcoms than modern ones. They are more funny and memorable. They don’t make them like they used to and I’m 23 by the way

Jason Bonner

Don't Forget 'Cuckoo' with Greg Davis. Also 'Spaced' with Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. Or Channel 4's 'Pete Vs Life'.

Phil Robinson

@Kristopher Barton - They are not your slaves. And 90% of those, if not more, would never be able to be uploaded to YT. Yes, they could do it here on Patreon, but that's not the point. People need to be realistic here. This is always going to be the problem with "reaction" channels - people just not having any clue as to the "admin" that goes into it. It's not a casual hobby, it can take over your life if you're not careful. The Boomer family have enough to deal with, wouldn't you think? (And it's 15 Storeys High, a brilliant sitcom - it's not "50 Storey's High" - I've never seen a residential tower block that was 50 storeys high here in the UK. It's not Mega City One from Judge Dredd!) As for the erroneous apostrophes... I'm not going there.

Phil Robinson

I would like the 1987 UK Election Night broadcast from 1987. It's hilarious. No one else will think so, neither will KB, but it's what I want therefore they should do it. Christ, enough already.

Kristopher Barton

Phil, at which point do I demand anything here? I made a request and added a list of cool series they might like to consider...and that's it. And btw, it's YouTube wide that more and more reactions are being blocked. Are they going to do nothing? That's the point and you need realistic about that. Somehow, you've managed to find drama in my comment and I'm not sure how or why. 🤷‍♂️

Cameron Allan

If you want to watch Jackie and Jim they are in a comedy tv show called ( green wing ) it's funny af it's set in a hospital

Cameron Allan

The 1 thing I can't belive is that it's taken 11 months to watch all this

Anonymous

You need to check out Derry Girls. It's hilarious

Chris Standen

It's all opinion. Boomer has said a few times that plebs is one of his favourites. Imo the older shows have dried out humour that can't even get a grin out of me

Simon Ball

I very rarely see "Bluestone 42" mentioned here. Any other fans? British comedy based on a serving bomb deposal unit in Afghanistan with a similar banter feel to the Inbetweeners. I reckon the Boomers will like it.

Phil Robinson

@Kristopher Barton - I should apologise here as I was in a bit of a grumpy mood when writing that - and it came across badly. So sorry about that. But seeing so many comments about "oh you should do X, or Y, or Z" all the time gets a bit boring after a while, especially when nobody is actually talking much about the video posted or the episode that's just been reacted to. Surely the point of these comment sections on the video is to discuss the video and not just endless requests? It stifles any fun conversation. I hope you can see where I'm coming from. So, as I said. sorry. Friends again?

Kristopher Barton

Hi Phil, it takes a big man to apologise like that mate. Of course, it's accepted! Good man 👍

Ricky

So happy this is finally finished, the repetitiveness of the simple writing gets boring after the third season

Cameron Allan

You should watch the tv show called ( green wing) the actress who plays Jackie and the actor who plays Jim are both in it, it is a comedy

Oliver Chapman

Maybe you should watch some Simon Bird stand-up. It's out there in Youtube world somewhere
