Ha! I just watched Heat again a few weeks ago - great film. "She got a GREAT ASS! And you got your head ALL THE WAY up it!!!!!!" And since this episode's called Burglary, and they mentioned Heat, I think these two muppets are gonna try and copy Heat and be Rob de niro and Al Pacino. 8 minutes in, that's my prediction - let's see if it comes true And for anyone that likes Heat and wants a similar film that pays Homage to it, try Den of Thieves from 2018 with Gerard Butler. Decent film

obviously mark and jez are the best characters because theyre the catalysts for everything. But superhans and johnson are def the best reoccuring side characters

I always wonder if this sort of storyline was written earlier and abandoned because in the episode we meet Mark's sister Mark mentions Jeremy having Chlamydia to which Jez replies "it's symptomless" whereas in this episode its like hes never heard of it

Peep Show is full of continuity errors like that. Sam and Jesse are brilliant writers, but you can often tell they have jokes they want to use as throwaway dialogue but later decide to reuse them as plot devices haha

The "clean shirt" comment was because they were the kids, when they were little, that used to chase after him and call him "clean-shirt" and "pedo" etc (just in case you didn't catch that).

Its marks facial reaction to one of them calling him cleanshirt that is the implication story-wise that they are the same kids that used to call him cleanshirt, thats literally what that shot of his face is the reason for, thats the joke
