Pee-Wee Stairmaster

It’s been an Epic ride KB. Hope it lived up to your expectations. This is more than a show for us Brits. It reminds us of better, and simpler times.

Gavin

Try rock and chips it's the prequel to this with jay from inbetweeners as del boy

connor

the best show of all time, simply incredible, would totally understand if you would want to “Re-react” to this show and i’m sure everyone else would love to see a re-reaction 😊

Joshua

Pleasure to share the ride with you, KB. Rock and Chips signs the OFAH franchise off.

James Fallon

Where is Strangers on The Shore reaction?

Sam Harvey

Back to s1e1 Boomer! 😉

Rob webber

Never stop believing hey Brian 😊

Stephen Giles

It’ll be worth the wait for QB. In the meantime please check out rock and chips!

Jonathan Giles

Gotta check out the prequel called Rock and Chips. Also there's an amazing 6 part documentary on Only Fools

Chris Duggan

Deffo re watch with QB when you can

Sam Deanz

100,000 subscribers not 1000 you muppet! 😂, also following this you could do Rock And Chips, still written by John Sullivan its the ealier years of Only Fools and Horses has James Buckley and Nicholas Lyndhurst

DuGonG

It has been a very long year... Rest in peace to all the characters that made only fools and horses the best show on UK TV all throughout 20 plus years... I agree with rock and chips next on your hit list just need to see if they are still on netflix

NuthinNew

🤘🏻 🖖🏻🤙🏻 nWo 4 Life

AWR93

Completed it 👏

Dave Jones

You still have the prequel show with young del and his mum, and another spin off show about boycie and marlene

Matthew Beckford

I think you should slow down, you are always putting out such amazing content, I feel you must be exhausted. Put your prices up a little, you deserve it. Focus on what you want going forward and a smaller community of followers.

Rhys Marshall

Love the wolfpack tee 👍

ALW

It's kind of great that on first watch you don't know where the next killer line is going to come from with this show. Sid's fostertits line is absolutely brilliant. I miss this show. But we always watch it repeatedly, and I suspect you might enjoy it again in the future. Shame they didn't get their fortune back, but I suppose its nice to imagine them and the gang going through business as usual, forever.

Mr Robot

On the ball boom 😁

Little Jimmy

I recommend Green Green Grass, it's a spinoff with Boycie and Marlene in the countryside

Mr Robot

Princess Boomer is more important than any fuckin idiot box ENDA FUCKIN STORY!

Ben

Totally get where your coming from with Queen Boomer, I’m sure I speak for many on here when I say we can wait for that I’m sure one day you will get round to both of you watching only fools we can wait 👍

Dango247

Rock and chips then 😋 👌

Adam Lovatt

Green Green Grass Ignore the haters anything JS (and his team) wrote is 90% better than most TV you could be watching from this point imo

john F

Document's on making and behind scenes ofah would be great to do

Graham Goldberg

Definitely Rock and chips as it’s the prequel to this. Definitely do this show again in the future with QB

Mr Robot

Rebecca DeMornay no one heard from her in 15 years 😂

Steve Read

I dont know that it needs a re-react with QB. But I do think she'd find this show wholesome if you guys ever get any free time to yourselves off camera.

Zoe brat

God I haven’t cried this bad from a episode in so long

Jay

Personally I think Rock and Chips is the best spin off. Green Green Grass not quite so good, as the Boycie and Marlene characters always worked best along side the original cast. On a side note, my parents used to go drinking with John Challis (who plays Boycie). Apparently he was a very nice man, although unfortunately there's no wild stories to tell, as he was quite a normal straight laced person.

Zoe brat

The royal family could be a good wholesome replacement for only fools I’m sure boomer would like that

Julian Clifton

Re-watch with QB, definitely! (When you find time, of course). Those that enjoy delayed gratification wouldn’t mind the 2-4 week wait in between each episode. I would, but others wouldn’t.

Alex Venditti

Vicar of Dibley has a similar vibe, and it has trigger in it 😉

connor

The effect this show has is that the more you watch this show, the more you will love it and connect with it, this show is STILL re-running nearly everyday on UK television specifically on a channel called “GOLD”

Phil Robinson

It's been amazing to watch all of this with you over the last 18 months KB. You should be proud of these reactions - you really got into the show pretty early on and was loyal to it to the end. Whatever anyone feels about these last 3 post-1996 specials, if you love and care about the show and the characters, there's no way the finale of this didn't move you. It's an enormously touching, low key ending. I think it works well. As for a re-watch with QB, of course we'd all love that - but if it were me, I'd give it a year at least to give some distance. And realistically it's too big an ask, even when PB is a toddler after that amount of time. Perhaps you can work something out, but I don't think anyone who is a parent or knows the score would be expecting that of you both.

sean

Give rock and chips a watch. Its a prequel(set before Rodney was born) and has James Buckley playing a young Del Boy

BurmaCuWin

You could watch the 3 episodes of Rock and Chips after this. It's a prequel to Only Fools starting James Buckley as Delboy.

Andy Legg

King Boomer, I have loved watching this with you, as I'm sure every one of us has. It was an absolute pleasure. But now I think there is one more episode of Only Fools and Horses you have to watch (that's if you can even make it through the full 22 mins), and that is the unaired pilot episode of the US version (Kings of Van Nuys). It does have Christopher Lloyd as Grandad and John Leguizamo as Del Boy, but, well, I'll say no more. But I think it would be funny to see what you, as an American who loves our most treasured show, thinks of an Americanised version of it. If you ever fancy checking it out, simply look for it on YouTube. All the best, ya Muppet 👍

Ash Jeffries

Superb reaction KB! I've really enjoyed watching this along with you. I think they wrap up some of the historical narrative with Sleepless in Peckham but I did feel Time on our Hands was the better ending overall. The writing in that 1996 trilogy was peak OFAH and it just felt a tighter and more logical way to close the show. I would recommend Rock and Chips although be prepared for more of a light drama than a sitcom. I wouldn't recommend The Green, Green Grass personally. Loved Boycie and Marlene as support characters in OFAH, but I feel they were terribly watered down for the spin off and the writing isn't nearly as strong. I'd probably not bother with the brief little skits here and there but I'd wholeheartedly recommend the 6-part documentary "The Story of Only Fools and Horses". Interviews and reflections on the show, nicely detailed and you would love it I have no doubt! I'd be delighted if at some point you do a re-reaction with Queen Boomer! I honestly think we'd all be on board with that as you can then watch the show vicariously through her for the very first time. It's probably one of the most endlessly rewatched shows in British television history so I have no doubt, whatever happens, you'll see it at least once more from beginning to end. 🙏

Jehan Ariyaratnam

I'd suggest re-doing the whole thing, if you can get QB in on it that would be great, or maybe just wait a while till you both have more time. Or maybe even just bring her in for the better episode like the specials. I would also suggest you react to the original full uncut episode of A Royal Flush without the laugh track because that one really hits hard, and was so harsh the writer felt he had to cut a lot out and add a laugh track, because the overall feel of the special was so uncomfortable

Phil Robinson

I made it 10 minutes into that pilot before shutting down my PC and doing something else to try and forget I saw it. It's one thing even attempting it in the first place, but then having that cast and STILL fucking it up is quite something. I agree though, that it would be amusing to see what KB thinks of it.

Ged Fazakerley

Yeah Rock & Chips and Green Green Grass are awful! Wouldnt bother with either.. It will spoil the legacy.

Ged Fazakerley

Anything you do with Queen Boomer is a win for me though!

BR90s

I think you would like the documentary series on the making of Only fools

Andy Legg

I agree, I felt like I'd been personally violated and needed a shower afterwards (picture Jim Carey in Ace Ventura in the bath scene). They even tried it with Fawlty Towers but called it Snavely Manor. That only had a pilot aswell.

Corey Williams

You should start The Thick of It. Political spoof with some of the sharpest dialogue out there.

David Ridley

I definitely think you should react to Rock & Chips next, the prequel of Only Fools and Horses. Only 3 episodes of it as John Sullivan sadly died before anymore could be made

Menty

I hope you consider doing The Story of Only Fools and Horses; a 75-minute documentary with all the cast and crew and an insight into a ton of behind-the-scenes stuff, the cultural impact of the show, and the genius behind the mind of John Sullivan.

Rebecca Musson

This has been so much fun to watch with you. It has been lovely to reminise over all the great familiar moments throughout the series but also see it through the eyes of someone watching for the first time. It made me so happy to see that you enjoyed it as much as us Brits. Can't wait to see what you pick out next! Also big congrats on the 100k, huge achievement :)

Rob Walters

Definitely agree with the suggestion for 'The Royle Family' instead of 'Green Green Grass' or 'Goodnight Sweetheart' - they were shit. 'The Royle Family' should definitely be next!

William Forsyth

Great reaction to cap off a phenomenal run KB. The show never gets old. You'll love a rewatch whether alone or when QB has time, or even have a word with ETS21, they just started it, hop on with them (just as an outside the box suggestion). Either way, thanks for a great year. Looking forward to starting it over at some point.

Chris Silverthorne

Been a real privilege to watch the whole thing again with you KB. Definitely wait until QB has time to join you. Will be worth the wait. Maybe a restart of the Inbetweeners until that time would be best

Richard Stanley

I can hear subtle disappointment in your voice from this saga ending. It's been fun sharing this treasure with you. I can't wait to see what you discover next. Bonjour.

Menty

I watched a few Goodnight Sweetheart episodes a few years ago because I remember liking it as a kid so picked it for nostalgia and yeah, it has NOT aged well at all. It's really bad.

Simon Westerman

I like both endings but this ending is more complete.

Jehan Ariyaratnam

Trigger had some crackers in this one, "or what?", you know what he means.... "what?" "So how much was that then?"

Jehan Ariyaratnam

I remember when KB used to always comment about how dated and old the show looked in terms of props etc which he seemed to be intrigued by. I wonder when he stopped thinking that, it spanned for 22 years in total

Simon Westerman

None of the others are anywhere near as good as only fools. They are still OK on there own. But do not compare at all to the greatest British comedy ever made. Been fantastic watching you react to these. Thanks booms

Kevin Liversage

Ultimately I'd love a rewatch with QB but I appreciate that will be difficult at the moment. Definitely recommend Rock N Chips though, I think you'd really enjoy it.

Markos

this show can be rewatched and you will pick up on stuff you didnt see first time or, now that you know everyone, would apreciate more. I would watch it again with you later on and if QB can watch it too that would be perfect :)

Matt Camburn

You'll think im joking, but theres actually a prequel to only fools, called "rock and chips" and young del boy is played by none other than....Jay from the inbetweeners!! I kid you not!

Daniel French

Love your OFAH reactions and will miss them KB!! There's a great behind the scenes documentary, which includes members of the cast and some fans of the show, some of which you will know!!

Sam Dilks

There’s a difference between a good funny sitcom and something that leaves a proper legacy. I know time will tell for other more modern shows, but you’re right Only Fools is timeless and even with the original broadcasts being over 40 years old the comedy will always shine and Only Fools will live on with every generation. It is so synonymous with British zeitgeist and the British public. Phrases like “plonker” and luvvy jubbly” are common British parlance, and if anyone says “during the war” everybody and their dog knows the reference. Long live Only Fools and long live John Sullivan’s legacy

Ste_UTB

Rock and Chips is worth watching imo but the Green Green Grass is not. If you struggle to find a link I have one KB

Sally Waites

I have really enjoyed watching this from beginning to end. Thank you. 😊 I will happily watch the Inbetweeners again with you guys. There was so much that had to be cut out on YouTube and I would love to see your reactions to it.

William Clark

I remember watching a YouTube video around September/October time last year and you mentioned that you have been reacting to OFAH on Patreon. I subscribed straight away to watch them. Think you were on series 5 at the time I caught up to where you were pretty quickly and have been watching them every week since. I posted a comment on one of the episodes (can’t remember which one) predicting that one day you would call it the greatest show you have ever reacted too… turns out I was right! Whatever you do, whether you watch it again on your own or wait for QB, is up to you. I’ll still be here. Enjoy your reactions 👍 I might even watch your first-time reactions all the way from the start again! Bonjour! 😃

Lee Organ

Absolutely brilliant! I loved every second of your reactions to my all time favourite show! And honestly, now you’ve seen it all, you’re just as qualified as we are to say that this ending was better… and I agree with you! Rodney and Cassandra having a baby girl and naming her after their mother was perfect! Id certainly recommend rock and chips next, followed by the green green grass. I know you like Boycie, and he’s still brilliant in this show!

Kevin Liversage

One thing I wasn't a massive fan of from this episode was the plot hole with the 'Frog's Legacy' episode, it was obvious Del had no idea who he was. However I do think it was worth changing so I don't hate it now.

Jay D

Sad times KB, first of all wait a while before QB reacts then you’ll be able to react again having almost forgot. However I’ve enjoyed watching all of them again on here so thank you what a brilliant show it was

David fallows

You know when king boomer laughs hard because his computer has a breakdown 🤣🤣

Mark Rooney

If you were looking for a different change of pace with David Jason maybe watch A Touch of Frost were he plays a detective in a drama series

Chris C

Would love to start this over with QB in for the ride. We can wait, no rush.

Jay

Yeah, the USB disconnect sound is the new "squeaky chair" part of KB's videos.

ryung246

Even though OFAH is without doubt the best of the lot, there's so many other good shows out there I'd say to try something new... (Excluding The Inbetweeners re-reacts since it's been a while & the full versions aren't on here) I'd personally want to see White gold or Brassic ASAP, but it seems like the best replacements for the shows that are ending would be: KMKY > Whatever the next partridge shows are Phoenix nights > Max & Paddy > Peter Kays car share > Brassic OFAH > Rock & chips > The Inbetweeners re-react > White Gold

maxlynchbrickz

Is there anyway I can watch your “this is England reaction” somewhere else or it is ONLY on here ? Cheers

BigChanChan

The first season of Goodnight Sweetheart isn't very funny so if you only watched a few episodes then you'd probably not rate it but it does get better... It's definitely not shit but it's certainly flawed.

Lz Bristol

I think you should wait for QB to re-watch OFAH. Rock and Chips and Green Green Grass are ok, but not as good as OFAH. Goodnight Sweet Heart is good, I've recently watched it from start to finish. But I'd like to put some forward classics like Porridge, Rising Damp and One Foot In The Grave. More recent This Country, People Just Do Nothing and Cunk On Britain, Earth, Shakespeare and Christmas. And also Cunk On America but they're two vids on Utube, it's hilarious 😂

Stephen Giles

Been a pleasure watching you react to every episode, got a real quick out of watching someone view this masterpiece of a show for the first time. All the best to you KB

Geraint Harrison

before you read this and think "oh not another one" there is a prequel that I request you watch called Rock & Chips, it's more of a drama but it really ties up the story of the Trotters family when Del was but a young boy (played by James Buckley aka Jay from Inbetweeners). Please do that as a last send off to OFAH

Callum Bruce

THE GREATEST BRITISH SHOW EVER

Joe Thornhill

I'd love to see these shorts you keep talking about, because I only know about the David Beckham one.

Fordy7169

KB if you need a fix of OFAH check out the 6-part series 'The Story of Only Fools and Horses' . Includes clips and interviews with the cast. They're on You Tube but I can't find them in really good quality. This is the 1st episode link: https://youtu.be/pNovy5iZDoQ?si=VDKp4CvUGlhjGFGe

Rhys Jones

Try Vicar of Dibley that has Trigger in it and it's brilliant you'd love it

Elizabeth

I think everyone would understand a rewatch with QB will be sporadic. Remember for a long time the episodes were only half an hour too, not these feature length ones they had towards the end.

AWR93

The first episode of “The Green Green Grass” is very good! You should check it out and see if you like it. Also there’s only 3 episodes of “Rock & Chips”, which isn’t a comedy but it gives a very deep insight into their Mums hard life and a young Del Boy (played by Jay from inbetweeners) and Freddie “The Frog” (played by Rodney) well worth the watch! Both shows were written by the same man who wrote every episode of Only Fools (John Sullivan) so they still feel the same! There’s also a 6 part documentary with most of the actors and producers of the show, which shows us behind the scenes, bloopers and never before scene footage!

ChrisDavid

Never watched Green Green Grass, but I have watched Rock & Chips, which I always watch after finishing my annual rewatch of OFAH

BigChanChan

I honestly don't think QB would stick with it, even when it becomes easier with PB when she's older, giving QB more spare time... I could be completely wrong but my impression is the QB is less patient than KB with these types of shows and won't stay with it unless it has constant jokes and silliness like an Inbetweeners type of show humour.

Callum Bruce

You should watch Rock and Chips after because it actually shows how their mum and Freddie met

Daniel Poole

This was the best way to end the show in my opinion. Rodney didn't need to be rich, he always wanted a family. Del was bored as a millionaire. This was they have a complete family and enough money to keep them better off than most. I also loved the fact they readressed Freddy the frog.

Jason Bonner

I can remember OFAH when it first aired and it was not popular, and I think this the problem as it wasn't until it was repeated that it found its audience and unfortunately this slightly younger viewer likely did not see previous John Sullivan comedies like 'Citizen Smith', 'Dear John' or my personal favourite 'Just Good Friends'. As someone in their 50's I loved this era of British TV that is largely forgotten. I always seems to be 'Carry on films' and 'On The buses' from the 70's that get recommended or 90's and onward shows. I'll keep on paying my sub's but it would be nice if you reacted to something for us old gits too.

Richard Stokes

An idea that springs to mind to follow this is the comedy Porridge with Ronnie Barker. Reason being its a gritty prison comedy with a performer on a par with David Jason. Again it's got something authentically British about it like OFAH. I also loved Dear John by John Sullivan (OFAH writer) but it could be difficult to get hold of

JJ M

Please do a rewatch with QB when you have time. I know she’ll love this show. Also totally up for an inbetweeners uncut rewatch too! I’ve re-watched those reactions of yours the most on your YouTube channel

Matt Wells

Truly the best show ever made! I still watch it over and over, just has everything, the characters are so endearing and genuine, just pure excellence of sitcom making

Adi Hughes

When it first aired and they brought back Freddie the Frog character (from the Frogs Legacy episode), I thought they were somehow going to find the gold! Rock and Chips is worth watching as it carries on the story, and you can play spot the actor as you'll recognise many of them!

Oliver Chapman

Maybe you should watch Rock and Chips, the OFAH prequel, starring James Buckley (Jay from Inbetweeners) as Del Boy

Mark Parker

I preferred this ending brought it all full circle

Billy Nomates

Rock and chips doesn't have the comedy, but it does tell a story.

Jooe

Hey KB you can check out the prequel series Rock and Chips with James Buckley now and Goodnight Sweetheart with Nicolas Lyndhurst for some time travel drama. Also very up for you to do Inbetweeners again!

Will

Only Fools And Horses is a comedy great and one of the best imo. However please give "Keeping Up Appearances" and "One Foot In The Grave" a chance. Also "The Royle Family". Them three are the best and most hilarious imo , that is why I'm confident they will have you really laughing out loud. Short clip of "Keeping Up Appearances - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sg8qCkUh2t0&t=18s

Andrew Bojas

Definitely react to it again with QB

Matt

Watch Rock and Chips, the prequel set in the 60's with Jay playing Del Boy, has people playing young verisons of Boycie, Trigger and Denzil and Nicholas Lyndhurst playing Freddy the Frog. It was also written by John Sullivan.

Paul Archibald

Gutted it’s all over. My favourite show ever. Loved all the reactions.

Andy

You've missed the middle special from this trilogy, "Strangers On The Shore"

Fozzie Bear

Brilliant , definately give rock and chips a go,and I can't recommend one foot in the grave enough, I love the grumpy crazy old man

sean

I think this ending, Rodney and Cassandra becoming parents, the Freddy the frog stuff, the brothers talking about it, tied up some important loose ends. But I did like them finishing it on the high note of becoming millionaires. I suppose that speaks to how invested you get in these characters. I didn't like having neither grandad or uncle Albert though.

Andy Waller

It has been a pleasure to watch your reactions to this amazing show. It will be great to see you re watch it with QB when you both have time. Like others I strongly suggest you watch the 3 episodes of Rock and Chips to give you an insight into Dels younger years before Rodney was born.

Andy Waller

He's done Strangers on the shore but it isn't in the collection for some reason. If you scroll down the home page, you'll find it.

Gary Tamblyn

Just Good Friends was pretty good, although haven’t seen it since the 80s, so not sure how well it’s aged. Dear John was quite funny as well - They actually did a US version of Dear John, which was quite successful and ran for a lot more episodes than the UK version, although John Sullivan didn’t write many of the additional US episodes.

John Johnstone

I've said this a few times now..one foot in the grave doesn't get enough love. Victor Meldrew is up there with del boy for me as one of the best comedy characters from British TV!

Daniel

I apologise if I'm being oblivious, but are you going to return to the episode you missed?

Robert Trainer

Would love to see both King and Queen Boomer watch Derry Girls or Porridge.

Simon Ball

https://www.patreon.com/posts/only-fools-and-105332007 Do you mean this one? He has done it but it hasn't made the Collections tab for the show.

Steve King

As you said KB, the show is timeless. Wait a couple of years until Princess Boomer is old enough to not need 24/7 supervision an watch it again with the Queen then

Jake Lol

as you love boycie surely "the green green grass" should be the next show :)

Jazz Chilli

People Just Do Nothing, The Royle Family and This Country are shows that will equally portray normal(ish!) people living in different parts of the UK (suburban London, Liverpool and the Cotswolds). But, they're much more recent. I haven't seen it suggested before, but I think the closest sitcom to OFAH is Bread, also from the 80s.

Aaron Hinton

Found the whole feud with Boycie and Marlene so misplaced for this final episode - Really not necessary.

That Guy

What was your favourite episode?
