Anything with Alan is worth watching, but The Day Today is one of the best shows ever. Chris Morris (who you know as Denholm Reynholm, of course!) is a genius. Brass Eye is amazing too - it was pretty controversial at the time!

Awesome call! I've been banging on about The Day Today for months and also BrassEye. I reckon the 30 min eps will end up being 60 min reactions due to the pausing for laughing and trying to get breath back. For people that haven't seen them, BrassEye is pretty much the sequel to The Day Today. I consider those shows as being paired and equally as good. Both are by and star Chris Morris.

Keith Hunt is based on a 90s tv presenter called Chris Evans who wore colourful suits like that and would run around being 'zany' he became extremely popular but was famously big headed and generally regarded as a bit of a git.
