I'm starting to get very annoyed with seemingly dead characters being brought back. I'd like for deaths in Star Wars to mean something again.

He will be fixed because Mando needs a friend for the days ahead and ig-11 is a badass

I think IG-11 won’t be fixed since he is the only droid that Mando trust. I think instead of IG-11 being fixed, Mando will have to learn to trust another droid thus opening his heart to droids in general!

As one of the few to see Mando's face, I think it would be interesting to have IG-11 along Mando's quest for redemption.

Yes but I think it will be a Kratos situation, where he will carry around ig-11 head or something or maybe keeps it in his ship.

I think IG-11 will be reset, and with that being said, Din might have a hard time trusting him again.

I still find it strange how he self destructed but there is so much left of him. To be consistent, I hope he will not be repaired.
