This is my favourite episode as sifu kisu the martial arts consultant and a sword master himself was heavily involve in the episode and piandao was based around him :)

Next two episodes, made me love zuko more than ever.

A katana does not take months to make, its the traditional polishing/sharpening process that takes weeks. The actual blade is made in a few days. The Tamahagane steel takes 2 days to make.

Episode 1 was great and episode 2 and 3 were good but this episode is excellent in my opinion. I loved seeing Sokka learn sword fighting and proving to himself that he doesn't need Bending. Master Piandao is 1 of my favorite characters. I just love his style of training and how he's part of the White Lotus. I especially love that Sokka had to make the sword himself. The fights in this show are always awesome but at least for me the sword fight in this episode was especially satisfying.I also love how none of the rest of the Gaang can pull off dry humor like Sokka could. However the best part of the episode is probably the stuff with Iroh getting ripped while completely tricking the asshole guard. Loved the reaction as always. :-)

Interestingly enough there is an episode of man at arms about Sokka's meteor sword that they made using actual iron from meteorites! Don't watch it yet as it spoils later episodes a little.

I love this episode since Sokka really is an overlooked character in terms of strength, this was his episode and gave him a chance to develop.
