Tin foil hat time Kansas city is on the same path of the Underground Railroad between Jefferson, and Lawrence when leading escaped slaves to Iowa. Coincidences maybe, my madness yes, but when fungi are in a Maze with multiple exits they are able to determine what path to an exit would use less energy/food. To bring it full circle using fungi to optimize train paths has been thought of, using their food as marks for train stops.
