I’d like to have an arc or two per season, however I understand why we perhaps couldn’t. To have arcs in TBB you’d have to fling them into situations you can’t just wiggle out of, almost constantly, and putting them in increased danger, contradicting their aim of hiding from the Enpire. With TCW, you’re in a war, surrounded by conflicts ripe for multi-episode stories. Your characters are in danger by default, both in a combat scenario and a political one

I am a fan of arc storylines in the shows I watch. I honestly felt the racing episode & treasure hunt episode were fun but inevitably were pointless to the overall story. I'd rather they progress the storyline. I enjoyed them, but they felt empty.

I'm fine with episodic type of episodes, as long as they all end up contributing somehow to the last 2 or 3 of the season. Like having all the friends they made in each episode appear and help the team ina unique way.

I would say I prefer Arcs, but I also really enjoy self contained episodes. For instance, the Riot Racing episode was one of my favorites this season!

Both work for me but I feel like since this series focuses more on a single group, more so than Clone Wars single episode adventures are a bit more fitting

i mean i pick arcs but i think you need both

3rd option, "both. both? both is good." I dont mind what a show does as long as it does it well, bad batch is really good & so far not having an arc is a good thing as we get more character moments (I often feel like arcs put so much focus on the arc & not on characters development/interactions)

I would rather Story arcs, but I really don’t mind a single episodes sometimes.

Some of my favorite CWs stories were one episodes, keeps things diverse and interesting. If nothing else it helps put breathing space in the series.

I would prefer story arcs, especially since season one was that way. It feels weird that season two isn’t while season one was. But I also do enjoys these one off episodes, and Rebels was amazing (and arguably consistently better) than Clone Wars while not really having arcs.

Overall I just agree with Aaron's point that I just want good stories, regardless of the format. I do think arcs are better for it though, as it gives more time to explore new worlds or feature character growth. The latter is incredibly important given the larger roster of main cast and episodic characters, which can feel a bit crammed full, rushed, or ignored when you opt for an episodic story format. Single Episodes can also suffer from "side quest"/filler fatigue, where we get a little bit of quirky character development but it sorta stunts the excitement build-up of the overall season plot thread. In an ideal world we'd have a mix of both, but that all feature some plot tie-in to an overarching season climax so that it all feels relevant in some way (a bit like how Doctor Who season end villains such as "Harold Saxon" tend to have their fingers in a lot of assorted pies).

Late to the party, but I prefer single episodes with a few arcs here and there, like they've been doing.
