Man who else remember the days when Blindwave really cared about their community? Used to get all the trailer reactions and two shows minimum on Patreon. At one time there was almost one live action Patreon show and one animated. Along w the live shows Now no trailer reactions for stuff like Antman 3 (which I get u wanna go in non spoilery) but the trailer spoiled nothing we don’t already know such as… kang is bad. Modok is Yellowjacket from Antman 1 & Scott wants time with his daughter back. That don’t ruin the movie & now when ur movie reaction comes out it’s gonna be less enjoyable cuz half the comments are gonna be like “fake reaction how did u not know this stuff” like the fake reaction of Aaron with Christian bale in gorr because Aaron reacted to that same news 5 different times. I’ve been a Patreon since Avatar TLA. I’m not an anime guy so I didn’t care about the one piece April fools fuck over but I understood everyone’s valid complaints. now with cyberpunk & Wednesday it’s straight up ripping off new subscribers. If I was a new subscriber and saw the schedule I would think oh cool if I sub now I can see Wednesday and cyberpunk reactions great. So I spent $15 and see nothing I subscribed for. I get one week of it next week but that’s right before I’m charged another $15 when I could of waited one week and only spend $15 instead of $30 for the SAME AMOUNT OF CONTENT. Especially when I guarantee episodes 1 for Wednesday and cyberpunk r definitely filmed by now I support blindwave on Patreon just because I can afford to and I’ve loved their channel for years. But I get everyone’s complaints recently. So please try to be more transparent with your subs (especially Patreon) so we know you care instead of being like “fuck u we got ur money anyways”

I fully understand the complaint about the transparancy, I think it is something they should 100% do on the schedule so people do know when exactly a new show listed on thier schedule will actually release on youtube/patreon. That being said your comment about the issue with new subs spending $15 at the beginning of the month expecting a show to be there the entire month is kind of funny to me, and you even mention the solution it the comment. If you are really only subbing for 1 or 2 new shows why not wait until they actually start releasing episodes before spending the money? Like you said, if it's the last week of the month how hard is it to wait one more week so you don't feel like you're wasting money? Also, I don't agree with the not caring about the community part of the comment. Running a reaction channel really isn't as easy as just sitting down, recording a reaction, and uploading it. Everything needs to be edited, plus there is a lot of planning that is involved with the schedule to all the different content they release, not just reactions but mail bag, podcasts, streams, etc... They release at lease 1 thing each day on patreon, some days have 2. They also watch a decent amount of live shows, which obviously won't be able to be done on patreon the same way. At the end of the day there are definitly things blind wave can do better to be more transparant, but they definitly put in a lot of work and they can't please everyone, and the recent patreon comments really prove that people will always complain no matter how big or small the issue really is.

Oh I completely agree. I was half serious but I know there are gonna be people who actually think that. And some people don’t get how Patreon bills. Most ppl even I assumed it was like a normal subscription like Netflix or Disney+ or HBO meaning if u sub January 27th for example for Wednesday/cyberpunk then u spent $15 just to get billed another $15 in 4 days. Obviously the smart thing is to wait till February but my point is there’s teenagers and new subscribers and people who don’t look into that until there already billed a second time. And it used to be the deal for $15 a month was 2 shows a day on patron except Fridays cuz movie reactions. Now this week we were lucky to get one a day.

Blindwave obviously cares about their community. What I meant to say it feels like they care only about their Patreon members bc thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of people who sub on YouTube are still waiting for that Antman trailer reaction that will never come. Which is super shocking to me because everyone’s been waiting to see Rick react to kangs design in Antman 2 eventho the average joe has seen the design since comic con.

Again pod u don’t read. I never said they should be posted. I only said the reactions are probably filmed by now. Do u really think people would of complained this much if u dropped one episode of Wednesday and one of cyberpunk & said thx for ur patience but we need another week to get it all together for Patreon bc we’re used to new ones dropping after a show finished. Blindwave has conditioned their subs to expect that by this point.

I seem to have messed up on the timing, I joined patreon to see Cyberpunk reactions since I saw the YouTube posts, but there wasn't any, I saw comments about it being the next week possibly so I waited but...it wasn't out then either. I thought it best I cancel until I knew for sure when it would be out and enjoy anything else that might be out until the end of the month. But I didn't know once you cancelled you can't see any of the videos anymore you have to pay $15 again the same day, I didn't know since I'm used to other patreons giving access the whole month you paid for aahh I really screwed up 🙈🙈🙈 but anyway I can't pay another $15 right now so I guess I'll have to wait it out on YT, also wow I can still comment! Just not see videos I guess 😔

They were informed by multiple people that ant man was too spoilery so they chose not to do it. They do not owe anyone an explanation why every single trailer does or doesn't get a reaction. Every new show that gets added to the schedule the first episode comes out for free and the rest come the same day on patreon. Subbing to patreon when the content isn't even available yet isn't there fault and even if people do sub and don't realize the mistake they can ask for a refund. People complain if the schedule comes out too late in the month waiting to add new stuff to it but they you put it out in the beginning with everything that will be posted in the month and you get complaints. There is no winning unless they made a new schedule every week which just is not worth the time to have someone do.

@Jacob Lowe here's a crazy solution for the schedule issue. How about when they post the schedule, they indicate on it when they would likely be posting the reaction to the new shows. Like is that so unreasonable? Everyone complaining about the schedule complaints act like that's impossible, when really it's not.

@daniel Snyman the schedule doesn't have dates on it so they can be flexible if something comes up. If they plan on releasing something on Friday the 13th but they all get sick people will be upset if they don't hit that deadline. This let's them have the flexibility to push it back a week and not upset people.
